Hello my name is Mary! I am planning to give birth either at Kettering Health Main Campus or Kettering Health Centerville/Miamisburg campus. My birth plan/ preference is having an all natural vaginal birth. I am open to necessary medical interventions if I stall out from exhaustion but would like to not do anything to force the baby out if my body/baby is not ready just for the sake of speeding up the birth early on. I have United Healthcare (Surest) insurance so medical costs can be through that/ reimbursed through insurance. I would like to stay under $2,000 for out of pocket costs if possible. I am really excited to have a Doula partnership! I would also love for there to be extra support for my husband ([name hidden]) as well! He takes on pain and emotions a lot so I know he will care and focus on me a lot, but I do worry about him not eating/drinking enough or feeling faint as [personal details hidden]. He is amazing, I just want me to be taken care of and it is also important to me that he is checked in on and able to get air or take a nap if possible/needed! My birth plan Environment - I prefer a female doctor or midwife - I would like to give birth in the hospital - I would like to have subdued lighting if possible - I would like to listen to music during labor - I would like to stay at home as long as possible Companions - I would like my partner and mother to be with me during labor - My family and children can visit me in the hospital Fetal monitoring - I would like to have continuous fetal monitoring Photos & videos - I would like to have a video shot during birth - I would like to have pictures or videos taken during every stage of labor and birth Induction - If necessary, I am ok with my waters being broken to induce labor - If possible, I would like to try natural methods to induce labor Pain relief - I do not want to be offered narcotics for pain relief. - If possible, I would like a mobile epidural (would be able to have some feelings in your legs and possibly walk) Tearing & episiotomy - I have been practicing perineal massage to avoid an episiotomy - I would like to have directions regarding when to push or not to push, so as to avoid tearing During labor - I would like to be able to move or walk around freely - I would like to try various birthing positions Cesarean birth - Do not perform a hysterectomy, unless it is the only option to save my life - I would like my partner or companion to be with me if I have a cesarean birth - I would like the baby to be given to my partner immediately after delivery - If an emergency cesarean is required, I would like to stay awake - If possible, I would like to avoid a cesarean birth Delivery - I would like directions regarding when to push or not to push, so as to avoid tearing - I would like to use a mirror to help motivate me to push the baby out - In case of an assisted delivery, please use a vacuum extractor in favor of forceps Birthing equipment - I plan to use a squatting bar After delivery - My partner will stay with our baby if there is an emergency - We would like to have skin-to-skin contact and time to bond with the baby as soon as possible after delivery Umbilical cord - I don’t want the umbilical cord to be cut immediately, but want to wait until it stops pulsating, so that the baby gets all the remaining cord blood - I would like my partner to cut the umbilical cord Feeding - I would like to have some help the first time I breastfeed my baby

I plan on giving birth at Tri Health North Bethesda or good Samaritan these are the hospitals that I already go to for appointments and they are the closest to my house . I do not yet have a birth plan completely yet I’m still trying to research and figure out some things I read Doula‘s help out with that as well. And I have anthem Blue Cross Medicaid insurance and I would like to find a Doula that would take my insurance

Hello I’m the future grandma- my daughter is 21 & she just found out she’s having a baby. We as a family: my ex husband who is great, her brother and myself are all on board to make this amazing for her. She is interested in a Doula & we are in gather mode. She is covered by Dads insurance/formally GEHA now I’m not sure what it’s called. We do have TriHealth docstors. We all live close by each other in Cheviot and myself in Dent. Thank you for any help. I just found out today that I am pregnant with my Third baby, I want to do a natural home birth. My first two were induced at the hospital, Not by choice. But I didn’t really know I had a choice. I had [personal details hidden] and [personal details hidden]. So I’m not sure if it’s even possible to do a home birth but want to find out.

I just recently found out that I am pregnant and know that I would like a birth doula to support an unmedicated birth. Living in a rural area, our resources are limited on practitioners and I'm hoping to find someone who is experienced, reliable, and close to home.

Baby #5 however this is the first baby that the father may not be present for the delivery. I’m giving birth at Miami valley hospital. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with their L & D however going in alone makes me nervous. I’m really just looking for someone to maybe check on me weekly & be present for the actual birth.
