I’m 21 and found out I was pregnant at the end of March, unexpectedly! At first I was fine with hospital birth, but more and more researching I’m a little unsure. My local hospital that I would be delivering in if chosen, says they offer low intervention birthing suites and support natural labor, but again i’m a little in the dark and am unsure. My mom is very supportive and encouraging of me having a doula and midwife to help advocate and support me but i’d say maybe $500-$2000 range? My ideal birth plan would be natural and following my bodies plan of what it needs to do, waiting to cut cord until white, immediate skin to skin, i would like to breastfeed, and vernix not wiped off immediately, vaccines are okay, and im not sure what else right now exactly. Im 8 weeks on 4/23/26, so still pretty early.

Good Samaritan I have caresource insurance and hope to have the services covered or mostly covered by insurance. I want an unmedicated, natural childbirth. I want no vaccines, vitamin k or eye ointments given to my baby after birth and I want someone that can help me achieve this as per my past two labor experiences the doctors scare me into doing what they say.

I do not yet have a birth plan completely yet I’m still trying to research and figure out some things I read Doula‘s help out with that as well. And I have anthem Blue Cross Medicaid insurance and I would like to find a Doula that would take my insurance

Hello I’m the future grandma- my daughter is 21 & she just found out she’s having a baby. We as a family: my ex husband who is great, her brother and myself are all on board to make this amazing for her. She is interested in a Doula & we are in gather mode. She is covered by Dads insurance/formally GEHA now I’m not sure what it’s called. We do have TriHealth docstors. We all live close by each other in Cheviot and myself in Dent. Thank you for any help. Provider Requirements We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), doula, newborn care specialist to provide overnight care for our son. Ideally, the provider will have 3+ years of experience, with significant experience in newborn, postpartum, NICU, pediatric, or maternity care. CPR certification are required. Experience with late-preterm infants and infant feeding/reflux is strongly preferred Care Recipient Our son Theo is 6 weeks old and was born at 36 weeks + 1 day. He is bottle-fed with formula and breast milk. He has some reflux and feeding difficulties, including occasionally becoming frustrated during feeds and needing additional burping/upright time. We are looking for someone comfortable with newborn bottle feeding, paced feeding, burping, reflux management, diapering, soothing, and safe sleep practices. The primary goal of overnight care is to allow the parents to get a reliable stretch of sleep while ensuring Theo is safely and appropriately cared for throughout the night. Additional Duties * Overnight newborn care, including feeding, burping, diapering, and soothing * Track overnight feeds, amounts, diapers, and sleep * Keep Theo upright after feeds as appropriate for his reflux * Bottle and feeding-item cleanup * Light baby-related laundry * Maintain a clean/organized nursery and feeding area * Provide a brief morning update on Theo’s overnight feeding, sleep, and behavior * No formal sleep training is required at this time; we primarily want developmentally appropriate soothing and establishment of healthy sleep habits We are not looking for general housekeeping, cooking, or extensive household duties. Our priority is high-quality, attentive newborn care. Estimated Budget Our target budget is approximately $40–$50/hour, depending on the provider’s RN credentials, newborn experience, and level of clinical experience. We anticipate approximately 8–10 hours per overnight shift, potentially 2–3 nights per week, with the possibility of increasing hours depending on our needs and the provider’s availability.

We are still near the beginning of the process (15 weeks) and still have a lot to decide about our birthing plan. We certainly plan to give birth at the hospital and are mostly aligned with what the doctors recommend generally speaking. No maximum budget in mind for the right match.

1. Home birth 2. Unsure, we will be getting new better-paying jobs soon. 3. I'd like to have my female family members present at home. Water birth if possible. I won't be working all of my pregnancy and postpartum time, so I have a lot of time for prep and postbirth activities.

Looking for home birth support and willingness to transfer to hospital if necessary. This is our first after 2 years of painful fertility struggles and a loss, so we are very excited and nervous! I want hands on help and guidance for my husband.
