I am giving birth at OSU with the midwives. I am keeping the same midwife throughout pregnancy (rather than meeting with lots of them), so am expecting an unknown midwife at the birth. Because of this, I want to have the consistency of a doula I know will be at the birth. This is my 2nd birth. It was helpful to have a doula the first time for tips and tricks and to give my husband ideas and I hope for the same again. I had an unmedicated vaginal birth last time and hope to do the same again. We have Tricare insurance and ideally would find someone covered by insurance.

This is my first pregnancy and I want to deliver at home.

I want to give birth naturally. Unmediated. I will be giving birth at OSU. Right now I currently haven’t created my birth plan since I still have some time to go. But giving birth without epidural and as painless as possible is the main goal.

Looking for breastfeeding help, and someone who can help with baby care when baby is born or help me (the mom) with post partum care. Would prefer 5+ years experience. Age 25-35. Help with cleaning, laundry, mom & baby.

I am looking for a doula to support me during my pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. I plan to have a natural, unmedicated birth at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and would like emotional and physical support throughout the process. I have tri care for insurance I would like help with comfort measures, breathing techniques, pain management, advocacy, and staying calm during labor. I am also interested in prenatal education and postpartum support after delivery. I am looking for someone experienced with natural births and supportive of my birth preferences.

My first birth was not a welcoming experience I was being told I had to be induced for hypertension and possible pre eclampsia then when I got to triage I looked fine and was going to go home until I had protein in my urine and was rushed to get a mag drip. I wasn’t explained why I needed it and when I was asking because I felt I wasn’t to that point yet they said I can leave AMA. From there I didn’t have a great experience at first. My practice had an on call dr that wasn’t really reading my chart or didn’t even know anything about me. I felt so out of control and lost. After 24 hours of just lying in bed with no progress begging for food or sleep and everyone telling me I needed to wait I broke down. I was finally at 6cm and they could ramp my induction up. I loved the nursing staff from that point on but I still felt like there was options for me that I wasn’t being given and I tried to advocate for myself and was overwhelmed. When it came to pushing I told them I was ready and to call the dr. They said it might be awhile. After 2 pushes my daughter was almost crowning and they called the doctor but I still wasn’t waiting. I told them to call the midwife and was her head was coming out I was told to wait and I said no and delivered her in 10ish min with the midwife walking in the room. But after that my uterus clamped down and my placenta was adhered to the top of my uterus and the doctor almost had to take me to the OR to get it out. Again I had to advocate for myself while I was unknowingly being pushed full of meds and prepped and said please cane someone else try to manually get it. Finally a dr from another practice was able to get the placenta out. I just would like someone who can help advocate for me and baby and knows my options or can explain them to me. I also want someone that knows me and when I say something takes me seriously. Hospital for delivery is Dublin Methodist.

I am a trans man (female to male) pregnant with my 1st child. Birth tentatively planned for OSU Wexner Medical Center w/ OSU Midwifery Group. Budget semi-flexible, TBD based on services available. I am hoping to have a low-intervention birth, and ideally a waterbirth. I do not want to be induced or have an epidural, but would consider other methods for pain relief. I am looking for someone with experience consulting new parents on breastfeeding, especially for people who have had a major reduction. I had peri-areolar type of reduction (incisions around areola, nipples+areola left intact) and may be able to breastfeed. You should be comfortable working with LGBT+ people.

I'm looking for a doula to support me through labor prep, labor itself, and postpartum with light household help. I have a daughter who will be turning 3 right around my due date, so I really want to make this transition as smooth as possible for all of us. After her birth, I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, and I’m hoping that with the right support this time — including emotional check-ins and practical help — I can have a healthier, more supported experience. Specifically, I’d love help with: • Preparing for labor (birth plan, comfort measures, partner support) • Labor support (at home and/or hospital, depending on how things go) • Postpartum visits with light duties like meal prep, watching my older child for short stretches, or just being an extra set of hands so I can rest I’m really hoping to find someone who understands the mental health side of the postpartum period and can help me set up a gentle, calm environment from the start. 1st pregnancy. Looking for someone to be calming, patient/ position change helping. I want to have as comforting as as possible. I get overwhelmed and a little “rough around the edges” Delivering at Mount Carmel in Grove City.

I plan to do a medicated birth at Mount Carmel Hospital in Grove city Ohio. I preferably would like to stay as low as possible in pricing. I would like my doula to educate me on the whole birth process and all the safe and unsafe medicines/vaccines for me and baby and other things that are necessary and or not necessary for me and baby during the whole birth and postpartum process. I would like for my doula to have proof of certifications, I don’t mind how many years of experience you have. I would also like for my doula to help educate me as much as possible with lactation. There is a chance that baby MAY have Cystic Fibrosis, I have not gotten tested for baby yet but, father of baby and I both have the CF gene.

Im looking for a midwife to help assist in my home birth. Due to 3 horrible birthing experiences I have decided im wanting to stay home where im most comfortable with a professionals assistance in a home water birth. Im not sure of my price for some one to take insurance (caresource) would be best but I understand that may not be able to happen.
