I am a Registered Nurse International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Prior to working in lactation, I worked in home health for eight years. I started providing lactation support as a CLC in 2021, and also began working in a hospital setting (inpatient and outpatient lactation care) in 2024. I recently became an IBCLC. I provide in home and virtual visits. I can accept insurance through The Lactation Network, or self-pay clients. I serve clients in Montgomery, Greene, Darke, Miami, Clark, Preble, Butler, and Warren counties.

I am Rhonesha Isreal, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I provide lactation services prenatally and postpartum via home visits and virtual appointments. After breastfeeding for 13 months, I recognized the importance of moms and other chest-feeding individuals receiving support throughout their journey. My goal is to support families from the time they are pregnant until they decide to wean their baby (voluntarily or involuntarily). I want moms to feel more confident and secure after working with me. I also want families to know, breastfeeding is not “all or nothing” and being comfortable and confident in their breastfeeding journey will change their daily outlook while they are nursing or expressing milk.

I also enjoy yoga, herbalism, vegan food, and wholistic health. I’m not new to care taking, I Have 10 Nieces and Nephews and I’ll always say my younger sister was my first baby. However, it was through my first born that I was reborn myself. While pregnant, I gained a passion for birthwork and gardening. I began to understand the importance of getting connected with earth’s essence and supporting each seed towards their fullest potential. In gardening, each seed knows exactly what to do when given the right environment to flourish. I believe in that philosophy for birthing people. I aim to support women in their fully informed power and connection to self through the ancestral ways of breastfeeding, birthing, and wholistic wellness.

I’ve been an IBCLC, in private practice since 1987. I’m the mother of 10 breastfed children including a set of twins, and 9 grandchildren. I have encountered pretty much every type of Breastfeeding issue there is in my years of practice. I love what I do.
