I plan on doing the epidural but I want to ensure I have a vaginal birth
- Delivery at Southlake Hospital - I don’t know budget. Maybe around $1000? - Birth plan: Vaginal delivery - trying to not use epidural but don’t mind if I do. - requirement for provider: someone experienced - Duties: Someone I can message anytime if any questions arise. Someone to walk me through the process. Stay with me during active labour to postpartum as well. Will need help with childcare and lactation as well.
Looking for doula - first pregnancy, preferably in Russian
doula to advocate during birth, credit valley hospital..
My wife is in her first trimester of our first child. She is currently experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety related to the process surrounding pregnancy. She will give birth at a hospital and I believe do whatever is necessary to facilitate a happy and healthy baby with whatever options are available to her to make her pregnancy/birth go as smoothly as possible. She had an eating disorder in the past and was underweight but has worked very hard to be healthier. She wants the baby, it's something we've worked towards for a few years prior to her falling pregnant but now she actually is, there is a lot of stress and anxiety preventing her from finding any enjoyment during this time which she is struggling with. I believe we would benefit from someone grounded, 'down to earth' with a no-nonsense approach who is still very empathetic and understanding of her situation. We can budget accordingly depending if it's a mental expert therapist or doula
Planning to give brith at Hospital. looking for someone who can provide me overall consultation during my pregnancy and after my child birth looking for someone with experience
I am planning Vbac at hospital. I want some one closer to my home. I am looking for someone who is a RN and also doula. If possible
Hi! I am 35 weeks and looking for student doula (since I can't afford a certified one) to support me while giving birth. I am located in Mississauga, Canada.
1. Hospital 2. Under a thousand 3. Birth plan: whatever needs to be done to be safe for me and child. I know I would love no epidural but due to my conditions and high case of c-section I would need to. I would love natural delivery again high chance of c-section. I was told by doctor due to my health OB/GYN is more recommended then midwife but stated a doula would be a good consideration.
I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.
Hi Taylor. We are very excited to say we are expecting our first baby August 24th. We live in Cookstown. My in-laws live in Wasaga Beach, and have extra bedrooms to happily support our stay, to be closer, if needed. We are planning to deliver @ Collingwood hospital. We are interested in a birth package. Something that includes some prenatal, labour/birth support. Also would like options for postnatal/postpartum baby care support. Meeting prior to birth, either in person or on zoom would be helpful to make sure we are a good fit. We are open and excited to learn all that you have to shared, to make this a calm, beautiful, peaceful as possible experience for everyone. I would love Support during labor/delivery. Though I will have the support of my other half and my mom holding my hand. I love the idea of having a Doula who has experience with the script, almost like a yoga instructor, to help with guiding through the process, helping with relaxing and all that comes with the beauty of what you do. Please let us know if you have availability in your schedule or recommendation options, as well as pricing . Thank you for your time! We look forward to hearing back. Sincerely, Kristy and David
Emotional support Hospital 100$ Not planned yet
first time mom looking at all my options! i would like to give birth at RVH but looking into midwife and dula ! i would LIKE to give birth naturally but need guidance on everything. Budget will be based off what is offered.
I would like to have labour at home but currently don’t have a midwife. So as of right now I will be having the baby in a hospital. I am looking to have an unmedicated birth but this will be my first time. I need guidance and reassurance. I’m looking for either a doula or midwife, who if possible is able to speak both English and Spanish but is not a requirement. I’m 29 , currently 21 weeks. I have two health concerns such as hypothyroidism (currently medicated) and a high chance of getting preeclampsia (currently on medication for prevention). This is my second pregnancy and my first pregnancy and labour (natural / medicated) went fairly smooth with no complications. My budget for a doula: $2000
This will be my third baby. I had my first via cesarean and my second cancer both in hospital. This time I would like to do a home birth because I really want to have a more intimate birth experience. I currently have no known complications. I’m not sure how much a doula generally costs, so I would say my budget is around $1500, but I’m open to hearing prices as I am not familiar with this process.
Dollars, not sure what I need or what service you offer.
I’m giving birth at the Oshawa hospital and I am planning on an unmedicated natural birth and really need and want the extra support to help prepare and get me through everything. Budget is around $1500
