As a birth and postpartum doula, I am an advocate who educates, empowers, and supports expectant parents with their ideal pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Birth Doula Services

One 60-minute initial consultation Two 90-minute prenatal meetings to: discuss your ideal birth, review what to expect during labor and delivery, create a birth preference plan, discuss how we will optimize comfort during labor and delivery, and to help you plan for the postpartum period Prenatal support during your pregnancy to answer questions, and provide information and resources relating to: pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum Access to a library of books covering all topics of pregnancy, labor, birth, breast feeding, and postpartum 24/7 on-call labor support throughout the pregnancy Doula support to create a safe, comfortable, and calm atmosphere for your labor and birth Up to 120 minutes of postpartum support immediately following birth to provide comfort and to support bonding and breast feeding (if desired) Photographs of labor, delivery, and postpartum (on smartphone) One postpartum visit to check in, process the birth, and discuss how the adjustment period is going Up to 12 weeks of postpartum support via phone and/or email For home births: If you are located more than 15 miles outside of Liberty Lake, WA there may be an additional travel fee. "Call the Doula" Cesarean Special

This package is for families who have decided to hire a doula last minute in their pregnancy and have an upcoming cesarean delivery scheduled! One 60-minute prenatal consultation to: discuss your ideal delivery environment, review what to expect during pre- and post-operative care and delivery, create a birth preference plan, discuss how we will optimize comfort during delivery, and to help you plan for the postpartum period Prenatal support during your pregnancy to answer questions, and provide information and resources relating to: pregnancy, cesarean delivery, and postpartum Access to a library of books covering all topics of pregnancy, labor, birth, breast feeding, and postpartum Available beginning at the check-in of your scheduled cesarean delivery Doula support to create a safe, comfortable, and calm atmosphere for pre-operative care and delivery Up to 120 minutes of postpartum support immediately following birth to provide comfort and to support bonding and breastfeeding (if desired) Photographs of delivery and postpartum (on smartphone) One postpartum visit to check in, process the birth, and discuss how the adjustment period is going Up to 12 weeks of postpartum support via phone and/or email Detailed information is outlined within the contract.

Night Postpartum Doula Services

You do not need to be a birth client to book postpartum doula services. Each family's specific needs look different during the postpartum period; however, sleep is essential for every new parent! Rest, relax, and sleep while knowing your baby is being taken care of. Overnight postpartum doula services include, but are not limited to: preparing pump parts; providing company or comfort while you pump or breast feed; feeding your baby after you pump so you can go back to bed; washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts; diaper changes; soothing your baby; and ensuring baby is comfortable and settled in their safe sleep environment. Night doula services are offered Monday-Friday from 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Please contact me if you are seeking support outside of these times to check for availability. You do not need to be a birth client to book postpartum doula services. Gift vouchers are available for postpartum night doula services. Contact me to discuss details and to check for availability. Where are you located?

I serve the Spokane, Washington and surrounding areas including but not limited to: Mead, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Post Falls, Hayden, and Coeur d'Alene.

What birthing facilities do you provide birth doula services at?

I can provide birth doula services wherever you choose to deliver! At a hospital, home, birthing center... You name it!

Can I still hire a doula if I get an epidural?

Yes! Doulas are able to provide support whether you choose to have a medicated or unmedicated birth!

Do you have a contract we sign when I book doula services? Can I see it?

I do have a service contract and I would be happy to email you a copy prior to meeting with you for a consultation. Just let me know what email to send it to!

I'm interested in hiring you! What is the process?

1. Contact me and we will set up a time to meet for a complimentary consultation. 2. We meet for the consultation (in person or virtually). Common topics during this meeting might include: how your pregnancy is going, what your birth goals are, and I answer any questions you or your support person have! 3. After our consultation, take the time to discuss with your partner whether you would like to move forward with booking doula services. 4. When you are ready you will complete, sign, and email me your copy of the contract. 5. I will add my signature to the contract and email you a copy along with an invoice and intake form. Please note: You have one week after the consultation to return the contract and pay the deposit. Your spot on my calendar will not be reserved until the deposit is received. We will then schedule your two prenatal meetings to get them on our calendars!

Life happens and sometimes backup doulas need to be utilized. How does that work? Who do you use as a backup?

We are lucky to live in a region that has a large network of amazing doulas. I have a handful of doulas I work closely with and we support one another as backups if it is ever necessary. My primary doula partner is Kaylee Barnett McMicheal with Nurture All Doula Services. In the rare case a backup doula supports you during birth instead of myself, the full fee still applies and I will compensate the backup doula for attending the birth.

What if I am having a c-section? How can a doula help?

You can still have a doula if you have a cesarean delivery! I would be there to provide comfort, give encouragement, explain what to expect during the procedure preparation and during the delivery, take pictures (and videos when allowed), as well as provide postpartum support immediately following the birth to give comfort, encourage newborn bonding, and breastfeeding help.

Are discounts for services ever offered?

Repeat birth clients receive a 10% discount for birth doula services. Additionally, at certain times throughout the year, I offer services at a discount. Follow my social media pages to get notified of any specials!
