I attended my first birth at the age of 16 years in a homebirth community and knew this was a calling for me. Hello, my name is Alyssa Ellison and I am a Postpartum Doula and newborn care specialist. I was born and raised in Carson, California and currently live in San Pedro, Ca. I've been a birth professional for about 7 years now and I thoroughly enjoy it. I got started in this industry almost by default. I am the daughter of the middle daughter of 5 girls. All of those girls (my aunts) gave birth to girls. If you can see where I'm going, I have seen a lot of birth over the years.
