Service introduction

My Primary Focus is in family wellness, particularly perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care! I love working with families feel well through their journey. Chiropractic for babes is very gentle and tonal in nature. We assess and adjust interference as we assess and the pressure that we put on those joints is the pressure that you would put on the outside of an avocado without breaking the skin. Chiropractic care during pregnancy can be beneficial for the normal physiological function of the mother and baby. During pregnancy, chiropractic care focuses on alignment and balance in the musculoskeletal structures of the pelvis. Proper pelvic alignment helps the mother have an easier pregnancy and can also ease the birth process! This is done through the Webster technique. The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces interference to the nervous system and balances maternal pelvic muscles and ligaments. This optimizes uterine function and allows for a safer, easier birth. Dr. Calahan has completed her Certification of the Webster technique Through the ICPA.
