Hello, I've been practicing women's health since 2000 and am among the first cohort to be board certified in Women's Health Physical Therapy. Women may experience abdominal or pelvic floor issues due to too much or too little tone and muscle strength and this can happen simultaneously. The real question I like to address is what is the primary cause that triggered this cascade of events. Often times problems don't resolve because there is another issue happening somewhere else in the fascial system causing these problems. The skills I am proficient in to address these problems are Visceral Manipulation, Matrix Repatterning, myofascial release, imagery and movement, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, Integrative Systems Model. Please youtube Matrix Repatterning for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction to learn about one of these techniques. Looking forward to working with you when the timing is right for you.

Frequently asked questions
How do you find the primary source of the problem?
Good Question! I do a series of tests including a structural exam, a bio-electric scan and a comprehensive history followed up by a demonstration that will show you the changes that will occur when I treat a specific region of the body. I will know after your evaluation where to begin treatment and what will make significant changes in your symptoms.
Are your treatments painful?
Rarely, they are very gentle and use less than 30 grams of pressure.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
Most people required 8-12 sessions, some more and some less depending on your previous history.
What is Matrix Repatterning based on?
It is a tensegrity (fascial based) treatment approach. Everyone has had previous falls, injuries, overuse, and some have had surgeries. These create fascial strains in the body that can affect another region in the body. When it is corrected with a specific gentle treatment approach the strain patterns to that area decrease and allows the body to start healing itself. When you meet me ask me about the wooden puzzle concept.
