Neena was a lifesaver for me and my baby! I was struggling with latching and not making enough milk for my baby. Neena patiently worked with me and my baby until I was confident with latching and helped me boost my milk supply. She also has an online library of videos which she gave me access to so I could learn more about breastfeeding and pumping in my free time. I really liked the videos on pumping and would watch them while feeding at night. Even though Neena gave me some sleep training tips during our time together, I am looking forward to working with her when I am ready to tackle sleep training. I couldn’t have asked for better support—she’s truly amazing!

I will strive to provide you with evidence based, and quality researched resources to support your new and growing family instead of the latest fads and trends in social media parenting. Support will look like assistance with lactation needs, pumping, bottle feeding, and general newborn and postpartum body recovery without leaving your home. I hope to come alongside you in the beginning of your parenting journey, to listen to your worries, to process your birth story, to guide you in areas of concern, and cheer for you with all the growth and success I know you will achieve in parenthood! I look forward to sharing resources, references, recipes, and love with anyone who finds themselves navigating this amazing, (and I will be honest….) difficult, frustrating, scary, joyful, exhausting, and moving time of life.

When I had my baby, Ashley was an incredible comfort and resource! She helped me navigate all of the huge life changes with confidence and grace, and I know without doubt that my family would not have made the transition as seamlessly without her expertise. 1000% recommend!

My name is Joanna, founder of Sisterhood Healing Birth Services. I am a mother of two, and it was through my own journey into motherhood that I was led to become a doula and childbirth educator. Guided by God and His Word, I have walked a path of deep healing—finding His peace, comfort, and reassurance in both birth and motherhood. Much of my healing came through the Holy Spirit and the strength of sisterhood. Today, I have the honor of walking alongside women and their families, teaching, and sharing the wisdom I have received. Peace, healing, and a sound, grounded faith are all attainable for your birth journey. I believe that with the right tools, support, and spiritual foundation, women can overcome the challenges of birth and step into motherhood with confidence and clarity. Hey there! My name is Alexandra however most come to call me Alex. I’ve been a postpartum doula for the past 16 years! I was born in Haiti and i practice all of the indigenous birth practices of my country. Ranging from postpartum nutrition, postpartum herbal bath and massage as well as postpartum closing bone ceremony. My passion is caring for mama as she cares for baby. Allowing her the space to navigate her new role whether it be her first baby or her ninth with the upmost care, patience and kindness and with my full support and knowledge. Let us build a village together

Recent review

After having a pregnancy that was not like my first for reasons other than health, I received a postpartum herbal bath from Alexandra. The experience was truly exceptional as the way in which she took her time to curate a bath that was specific to me and my needs was barely the pinnacle of my experience. In moments of uncertainty as a mother, whether it is your first or your third, the care you receive matters. Receiving care from Alexandra is an experience within itself that can only be described within a feeling, one that is sweetened with care and someone who is committed to carrying you to the other of your vulnerability. I recommend her services to others as she is an exceptional individual who is serious about her craft and the care of the children in which she assisted in coming into this world. Again, I can not fully put into words what it is like as you would have to experience her services to understand. I can say within a day I was up and walking, and the aches and pain had vanished seemingly overnight after the bath. Simply plain and put she is passionate and dedicated and will show up for you.

My name is Samantha Dorleus, and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m the youngest of my older siblings, and growing up, I’ve always taken on the role of caretaker for my younger cousins. As my older sister and brother had children, it became second nature for me to help care for my nephews. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I was ready for the journey ahead. Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience of my life! Watching my daughter grow from a tiny baby in my belly to the beautiful little sunflower she is today has been truly incredible. Now that she’s 5 years old, I know I still have so much to learn as she continues to grow, but I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life. With my extensive experience caring for children since a young age, I’ve worked in after-school programs, summer camps, and preschools since 2015. Caring for children is something I’ve always loved and admired. I am now certified as a Doula and look forward to providing services to elevate and advocate for mothers, especially by offering postpartum/prenatal care. It’s my mission to support women as they navigate this beautiful but sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood. I’m currently a full-time mom and, in my spare time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, working out, and finding new ways to support my daughter’s growth and development. I also love exploring new foods, with Caribbean cuisine being one of my favorites! I’m excited to offer my services and look forward to being of help to you all.

I’m here to love you, love will teach you Holistic birth worker, Latina, indigenous doula, and herbalist. Educating, loving, respecting, advocating for and assisting women prenatally, during labor, birth and postpartum. My philosophy and approach is based on the fact that pregnancy and birth are normal life events. My model of care includes nurturing, hands-on care before, during, and after birth. Observations and care for the physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being of the mother throughout the birthing year. I provide personalized education, counseling, and prenatal care, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, and postpartum support. Accurately identifying when clients may require medical attention. I believe that pregnancy and birth are sacred, fundamentally normal, physiological processes. I commit to respect and protect the birth space, allowing labor to take its normal course.A laboring woman needs to feel private, safe, and unobserved, and I work hard to provide subtle but effective observation, only as needed and desired.
