About me
I am a doula because it's my passion. I have been assisting friends and relatives with their deliveries for over 22 years - I have been a certified doula for almost 2 years. I will provide resources and education Before, during and after birth. I will provide before & after birth visits. I will be with you through labor & deliver. I will also be support for your partner and empower them to help you, if that is your wish. Emotional & physical support for YOUR birth choices, Your body, your choice. I am fully vaccinated. Diane was my Doula, and she was simply fab!! I had a very difficult pregnancy with various things, extreme nausea, stressful situations, emotional ups and downs with hormones etc, and Diane was understanding and soothing and helped me to approach my baby’s birth in a calmer way, however it happened. She held my hand and supported me during a very painful external cephalic version, I was screaming but her being there helped so much! And the day after I was a wreck but she made sure to check in and was very caring. I lost my mum a few years ago and although Diane was in a doula role she was also like my family, like a mum, as soon as I met her, she was exactly what I needed and she just seemed to instinctively know what she needed to do to help.
