About me

I am a RN, Lamaze certified childbirth educator, CAPPA certified Lactation Educator and Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. I have 20 years of experience as an IBCLC helping families with their birth and breastfeeding journey. Because of my expertise in breastfeeding, I specialize in creating customized sleep plans for breastfeeding families from newborn through toddler stages. I opened The Woman's Place, a maternity boutique and education center, in Wilmington NC and offer Medela breastpump sales and rentals. Service introduction

I specialize in helping breastfeeding families meet their goals for better sleep while protecting your milk supply and breastfeeding relationship. I offer services based on the age of your child from Prenatal/Newborn to Toddlers. Your sleep package begins with a free discovery call to get to know you and your child and answer your questions about sleep training. If you choose to work with me, I will develop a customized sleep plan based on a variety of methods, bedtime routine suggestions and a nap and night time sleep schedule. I will then be available to support you as you implement the plan (1-3 weeks), and then we will have a follow up consultation to discuss progress and next steps. I also offer an Ask Me Anything call and classes on Infant and Toddler Sleep.
