I will be giving birth at Cooper Camden. I plan to labor at home and then hope to establish a calm and comfortable environment when I transition to the hospital. I love to be in water and plan to use a shower. I do plan on receiving an epidural but would like to be prepared in case that cannot happen. I am interested in a doula with several years experience. I am an older mom at 35, in a higher risk pregnancy. I am looking for a doula to assist with labor preparation, to attend my labor and delivery at the hospital, and to provide postpartum and lactation support as I hope to breast feed.

Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. I'm hoping to find a doula who can be a supportive presence during the remainder of my pregnancy, help me prepare for birth, and provide reassurance and advocacy during labor and delivery. I am looking for extra in any support that I can at the moment I’m currently going through a divorce and my husband is not going to be a part of any of the process or the babies life. I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m not sure what my budget is right now as I am new to all of this so I don’t know where it ranges and also I don’t have a birth plan because I’m not sure what that’s supposed to look like this is all very new to me and I’m under a lot of anxiety and I don’t even know where to start.
