Hello! I'm Sydney Hough Solomon of Water Lily Sleep Consulting and I'm a certified child sleep consultant. I believe parents can have it all; a warm and nurturing relationship with their child and a full night's sleep. At Water Lily Sleep Consulting we follow a child's natural bodily rhythms, create strong routines, and work at your pace. Quality rest plays a major role in a child's mood, health, and development. I think it's important to remember that parents are human, and in order to be present and engaged with their children they need sleep too!

I am a DONA-certified birth doula practicing in the Ann Arbor, MI area. I believe that doula support is a right, not a privilege, so my fees are nominal and my services are above and beyond. In addition to the usual DONA certification training, I am also trained through Survivor Moms and I also volunteer with the Michigan Prison Doula Initiative, in addition to my private practice. I have no time cut-off, so if your labor is moving slowly, I will stay with you all the way. I have been told that my kindness, compassion and ability to listen and advocate has been a godsend to many of my clients.
