I want to have a natural home birth with a birthing pool. I live in Lansing mi and have insurance but am aware that insurance may not cover all expenses so flexible payment plans are a plus. My estimated due date is 4/26/26.
I am looking to give birth at the Trinity Health Family Birth Center in Ann Arbor. I would like to find a doula that could help me advocate for the unmedicated, calm, quiet birth of my dreams. My ideal birth would feel peaceful and empowering, with as minimal interruptions as possible. I would also like to breastfeed, so support in that area would be a huge bonus!

I am planning to give birth at Alma Hospital and am currently looking for a supportive, knowledgeable doula to assist me through labor and delivery. My birth plan is simple and focused on having a safe, healthy delivery for both myself and my baby. I am open to guidance, education, and support throughout the process, especially in managing pain, understanding my options, and advocating for my needs during labor. I am hoping to work with a doula who is certified and experienced in hospital births. Experience with first-time or low-intervention births is a plus. A calm, supportive, and reassuring presence is very important to me. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with hospital staff are also key. There are no special requirements in terms of additional duties such as cooking, cleaning, or postpartum household support. My primary focus is labor and delivery support, along with breastfeeding and latching support. The care recipient is myself and my newborn. There are no known special needs at this time. I am planning to decide on feeding breastfeeding and bottle feeding and would appreciate a doula who can provide guidance or resources if needed. My budget is based on what my insurance will cover. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and I would like assistance understanding what services may be eligible for coverage or reimbursement. Overall, I am looking for someone who will help me feel confident, supported, and informed during one of the most important experiences of my life.

Hello, I am happy to have found this page and hoping to touch base on the services you provide to see if we could possibly work together for the delivery of my baby this coming spring. This is my first time ever giving birth, and I would really like to work with a doula. I am interested in natural at-home delivery, if possible, and would like to learn about more methods and practices for preparation. I am 36 yo and on Medicaid due to a disability, however am medically stable and have had a low risk pregnancy so far. Hope to talk to you soon about what the process is like to begin working together. Thank you!

I will be giving birth at home with a midwife, her birth assistant & my husband. This is our first child. My husband is going to be taking a month off work but his work schedule once he goes back is extreme, he works between 70-80 hrs a week between two full time jobs. Our budget is between 25-35$ an hour. I'm hoping to have 2 months of meals prepared for postpartum but am nervous about keeping up with household chores & taking care of the home by myself with a newborn once he goes back to work. I will start working on a birth plan with my midwife at 25 weeks. I'm 17 weeks currently. I will be getting a pool and plan to have a water birth but nothing is set as of right now.
I’m hospital, I have no idea about budget , my birth plan is unknown

My budget is under $1000 as long as a payment plan is offered. My plan for birth is to go unmedicated. I'm eager to learn about pain management that doesn't include an epidural.
