Second pregnancy. I developed preeclampsia with my first and gave birth via C-section at 28 weeks. Really important to me to do a VBAC with this baby and avoid another C-section. I’m planning on giving birth at the new Love Family low intervention birthing center in OKC. I have a Dr I’m seeing but don’t feel a lot of support with VBAC plan. Budget wise I need to stay under $1,000.

I am new to oklahoma city, I just moved here in December and I am having a hard time finding anyone available to take me in their care on short notice. I do have Soonercare insurance so looking for a midwife and doula who can work with that insurance. This is my third child, however my daughters are older 13, and 8 and it has been a long time. Both were vaginal births with epidural. I am expecting a son in February, I want a vaginal birth in a hospital with the option of epidural and pain management. I'm new to the area so open to different hospitals although Mercy birth place would be preferable. My husband would like to be as involved and as hands on as possible with the birthing process also. I plan to breastfeed my baby and would like lactation support and assistance from a doula after birth. I plan to give birth at the Mercy Love Woman’s Birthing Center with their Midwifery in OKC. We have tricare insurance, which will now cover some doula fees and are hoping to take advantage of that. I have had two vaginal births with epidurals, and would like to try this birth Unmedicated. I need birth education for a successful Unmedicated delivery. I also would love to find someone who shares the same Christian/Biblical beliefs as me, believes in the power of prayer and mindful preparation, and can train/prepare/coach me in a “hypnobirth” way with a Holy Spiritual focus.
