This is my second child, my first will be 4 by the time baby arrives. Had a very hard postpartum with my first and want this time to be different and hope to avoid severe postpartum mental health by getting the assistance of a doula during birth and a night doula postpartum for a few days a week for the first weeks. I plan to give birth at a hospital. I had an epidural with my first and likely will with this one but would like to try to labor without for a bit so I can be mobile.

This is my 3rd baby and the first time I was hoping to work with a birth/postpartum doula. I have two boys and another on the way. I am in need of someone who is contracted with Kaiser Permanente HMO.
This will be my 3rd natural in-hospital birth with midwives.
I am not entirely sure where i am going to give birth or anything this is my first pregnancy and would love some guidance as i tend to stress out .
My goal is a low intervention VBAC. Open to either home or hospital—but I am leaning towards laboring at home for as long as I can before giving birth at a hospital. I am in search of a Midwife or Monitrice (LM or CPM perhaps?) who can help me labor safely at home (provide fetal monitoring, look for signs of rupture, preform cervical exams if necessary.) Thank you very much for your time!
