I am a Registered Nurse with an extensive background in maternal child health. Throughout my career, as a lactation consultant I have assisted and supported families in their homes, hospital, as well as clinic settings. My approach is client focused and I work with families to achieve their goals. Offers child birth education as well as lactation consultation during pre-natal/pregnancy and transitioning into postpartum period. We use evidence based practice to provide families with the necessary skills to support their sacred journey of birthing and breastfeeding. I am partnered with The Lactation Network, TLN. They work with your insurance company to provide lactation services. TLN accepts most Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO, Humana PPO, and VA CCN (Veterans Affairs Community Care Network) plans as well as most plans that utilize MultiPlan and PNOA. If your plan covers lactation consultant services, you are likely eligible for up to 6 visits at no charge to you, including prenatal classes and visits.
