About the provider

Cris Puccia van grol

Hello! My name is Cris. I’m a trained birth doula based in Canandaigua, NY. I became a doula because I experienced first-hand the difference that preparation and support have on birth and postpartum. I love connecting with families and acting as a compassionate presence throughout this major life transition. My practice involves prenatal meetings that focus on the three ways of knowing: intuitive knowing, personal knowing, and modern knowing; reliable and steady support during labor and birth for both the birthing parent and partner; and presence throughout the fourth trimester. I support births across the full spectrum. From unmedicated hospital births to planned cesareans and everything that falls between. I am currently accepting clients in Ontario, Seneca, Yates, and Wayne counties.
