About the provider
I have extensive experience spanning several decades in prenatal, postnatal, and newborn care, encompassing both in-home and in-hospital settings. My qualifications include being certified maternity nurse holding an NVQ Level 4 certification UK, licensed as a nurse in the US, completing Kraamzorg Dutch (Maternity) and Newborn training, certification as a lactation counselor . Additionally, I am an MBCP Mindfulness Birth Child and Parent Teacher, Childbirth Educator, an infant Sleep Specialist, and hold certifications as a Brazelton Newborn Behavioral Observation Teacher, Pediatric/Adult CPR and First Aide. Having worked in over 25 countries, I have acquired valuable insights into the best practices in prenatal, postnatal, and newborn care. I find immense fulfillment in my profession, valuing how each and every family enriches the field with their distinct childbirth and infant needs and experience. My primary objective is to advocate for mindfulness and well-being among mothers, babies, and their families, supporting a smooth transition from pregnancy to the postpartum period. Enhancing parents' confidence and resilience in caring for their newborn during this demanding yet rewarding stage is crucial.
