This weekly parenting yoga class (Prenatal & beyond) is for those carrying, preparing or caring for a new baby at GLOW in Salt Lake City. Come learn about the prenatal & postnatal process, your body, explore coping techniques for labor & delivery (as a birthing body or support person) as well as parenthood, build strength and connectedness in your mind & body, create bonds with other expectant & postpartum parents and feel empowered. Bring water, a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothing. Class is a sliding scale pay what you can $10-25 per class. Please note: Some people attending class are surrogates, family support, intended parents or may not identify as female. This class is for all people, with differing abilities, body shapes & sizes, as well as gender identities. Come as you are.

About the provider
I have been teaching somatics for over 12 years throughout my local Salt Lake City community. I acquired my BFA in Modern Dance and Education from the University of Utah in 2009 and shortly after gained my yoga teacher training in Hatha and Prenatal Yoga. I am a certified DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula, an ICEA accredited childbirth educator, parenting group coordinator, mental health advocate and community organizer. All of the diverse education and training, as well as years of experience, provided me the space to confidently educate the community of expectant parents during their reproductive years, while simultaneously providing unbiased evidence based care. I believe that guiding people to fine tune their own personal intuition and strength allows them to live a happier, well balanced and meaningful life.
