We don’t have family support nearby, since we are from out of state so it’s really just my husband and me navigating this new season together. I’m also transitioning out of work during pregnancy, so while we deeply value doula care, we’re working within a budget of about $500–$1000 and would be incredibly grateful for anyone who offers sliding-scale support or flexible options. I just need someone to come to my home and help me get up to go use the bathroom and to hand me things from the kitchen or other room for my one year old- light cleaning- emotional support-snack preparing and someone who is willing to watch movies with me while I recover for two weeks. Will not ask you to change diapers!! Preferably someone who speaks Spanish I am low income and was wondering if any doula accepts Molina insurance.

My partner is schizoeffective and I would like a doula who is well educated and experienced in mental health so that it will better help me through the delivery. My husband will be home with me for only 1 week after and then will have to return to work.
