Looking for emotional support as I'm having my first child at42 from IVF and worried about loss and complications. Wanting to do a home water birth. Scared of birth and seeking emotional support and guidance before and after baby arrives as well as physical support and guidance during labour. Budget is 1500 to 2500 CAD max. Birth plan is home birth with as minimal interventions as possible. No epidural, no antibiotics or forceps. Ideally no c section.

This time I would like to do a home birth because I really want to have a more intimate birth experience. I currently have no known complications. I am looking for a supportive birth doula for my wife. This is our first time navigating this, and she is starting to experience a lot of anxiety surrounding the labor and delivery process. We are looking for someone who excels in emotional support, anxiety management, and partner coaching so we can both feel confident. We currently plan to give birth at the Etobicoke General Hospital.
