I plan to give birth at the hospital. I would like to spend around $6000.
I plan to give birth at home, we have doula, and a birthing pool already but that’s pretty much it as far as materials. I don’t have an estimated budget but I’m willing to be flexible. I’d want a low lit room setting, aromatherapy incense, and may be one or two people (besides my husband) there, water birth, and delayed cord clamping.
We plan on having an in-home birth for our second child . Preferably someone who’s more culturally / ethnically aligned. Only have insurance . We wanted to involve a mid-wife so that we could have someone able to stitch my wife up right after birth just in case of any minor or major tearing
Just shopping around for a midwife or birthing centers at this point.
Either a birth center or hospital, as low as possible hopefully paid mostly with insurance. Little to no interventions, would love to do a water birth,
I want to have a water birth at home or see if there is any hospitals or places that will allow me to have one covered by my insurance. I would like a Doula and Midwife to help me prepare for birth and after.
Hoping to give birth at home. I have medi-cal for payment. I want to be able to have my baby in the comfort of my home. A water birth and no pressure from hospital staff.
Would like to have a home birth, $3000 budget, water birth at home
1.Home birth 2.$5,000 3. Want a very low assisted / least amount of intervention home birth for 4th baby Previously baby had 3 unmedicated hospital births
I would like to do an unmedicated home birth. I love a holistic approach to pregnancy and birth
I would love to do a home birth. I would love to do it as holistic as possible. I had a bad hospital experience birth and would like the opportunity to have a safe and natural birth from home. My biggest concern is budget. As of right now, I am the primary source of income so my hope is to be covered by health insurance as much as I can to pay as little out of pocket as possible.
Planning for home birth or birth center. I have Kaiser insurance but budget is around 5k Still working on the birth plan, but I want full support during birth and after. Full autonomy to move around as comfortable with potential water birth. I want delayed cord cutting until umbilical cord is white with no pulse and placenta encapsulation.
Looking for a natural birth for my 5Th baby at a hospital or birthing center. I want delayed cord clamping, birth in a tub or on hands and knees and bring my placenta home. I need someone who can coach me through my pain and help me stay calm when things get hard. I especially don't want to tear so doing everything I can to avoid that would be great. I love oils and energy work. That would be a added bonus.
I am rh negative and need midwives that can come after I have the baby to give me the rhogham shot if needed
Hello I have double Kaiser insurance. I will be delivering at Kaiser looking for someone that takes my insurance. Not sure birth plan yet I’m still early.
Been very uncomfortable I really need some support as I’ve been suffering from intense stomach sickness and trying to cope alone with my partner being gone. Please I need some extra support at home in my time of need
We would like to have a home birth in Davis CA. The average rate we are finding in our area in in the 6k range.
Planning to give birth in a hospital. Looking for someone who takes insurance or payment plans. Second birth and am aiming to birth unmediated.
Not yet pregnant (hoping to be by Jan 2026.) Looking for a midwife to come and support me through the entirety of pregnancy, performing regular check ups/ins through out pregnancy and also provide in home birthing supervision/execution. And post partum doula to help out as needed after birth. Estimated budget is $4000. Birth plan would be minimal interventions.
I am located in Amador County and am hoping to have a home birth. I have Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal and would prefer a midwife who accepts my insurance or offers flexible payment plans or superbills for reimbursement. I am early in pregnancy and looking for full prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. I am hoping for a low-intervention, natural birth experience at home with a supportive and experienced midwife who is comfortable with hands-off care when appropriate but also prioritizes safety for me and my baby. My budget is limited, so I am open to discussing payment options and ways to combine insurance-covered services with out-of-pocket care. I am also open to guidance on how to navigate insurance for coverage.
