Looking for a doula for my birth experience. Will be delivering at hospital Texas Harris Methodist Alliance. Would ideally like to give birth unmedicated, unless medically necessary. Unsure of budget, not sure where to start.

I have to give birth in a hospital with a midwife but would prefer an at home birth. My only plan for birth is to be as natural as possible. I want to be left alone to labor and I don’t want a lot of unnecessary people poking around me and baby. My budget is probably around $800

I’m giving birth at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth so my insurance informed me that aslong as my Tricare provider i’m guessing my OB or any doctor is in the delivery room they will cover any certified doula services. I’m just looking for doula this is my first child

My insurance company has told me that as long as my Tricare provider—presumably my OB or any doctor—is present in the delivery room, they will cover the costs for certified doula services. I wanted to check if you accept Tricare Prime insurance for payment. Since this is my first baby, I’m looking for the perfect doula to ensure I have the best birthing experience.

I am very high anxiety and would love to have someone there for me for support and to answer any questions I have and to reassure me through any concerns.

Not quite sure if I want to go back to the hospital, if anyone takes Medicaid that will be easier for my family other than that not comfortable right now about the topic. Recently had two c-sections, I had wanted to try for VBAC for the second pregnancy but they still scheduled the surgery a week before my due date. I am really not wanting to undergo another surgery when I know I can do it naturally and will like the chance to fully enjoy the experience this last time.

I plan on having birth at harris southwest hospital FW. I would like to not get an epidural, n2o i am considering to ease my mind. I am not sure cost of Doula’s or if insurance helps cover anything. wanting more information on this option.
