I plan to give birth at UTMB Galveston Hospital. I plan to have a natural birth with as little medical intervention possible unless there is an emergency.
I plan to have an unmedicated birth in the hospital (UTMB Galveston), I want as few interventions as possible. I'd like a doula's help at the birth, with starting to breastfeed, and perhaps a few visits postpartum. My budget is $2,000.
1) HCA Health in Webster, TX 2) I’m not very sure on a budget as I haven’t done much research. 3) I want to try to go unmedicated, not lying on my back, I want open mobility, a calm and uplifting environment and I want everything to feel natural.

This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. Looking for occasional daytime help For my daughter, a single first time mom. Would love a visit 1-2 days after returning home with baby, then a few more visits over next 3 weeks. Someone who can assist with breastfeeding (not necessarily certified lactation consultant) is a plus. She will have overnight help for me but we will need daytime backup support occasionally.
Day time Duola to help us on during the first month and is our first baby. 2-4 hours a day.
