Hello! My name is Carmen (she/her) and I am a postpartum doula with the intention of healing the world by helping heal birthers and their families during their 4th trimester. While the road through parenthood may be well traveled, it is also an incredibly unique experience. My goal is to help the transition through the 4th trimester feel less rocky and more like a gently warn path for families by listening to, loving, lifting up and linking families to their community.

Her passion for Birth Work began in 2020 when she got pregnant with her daughter Kailani. During pregnancy she prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually for labor, but did not prepare for the postpartum period. With no family or support around made her 4th trimester a very difficult time for her and her partner. Yose completed her Birth Worker training with Bebo Mia Inc when her daughter was only 3 months old. After the training she realized that she wanted to take a more ancestral approach in birth work, and began learning about Mexican Birth and Postpartum Traditions. She Is constantly growing and learning! As your Doula Yose will walk with you through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
