Hi! My name is Shawna, and I am the heart behind Mommy’s Helper Birth Services. It is my goal to help mamas and their partners craft birth plans that make them feel the most confident approaching birth, and I will provide continuous support to Mommy and her partner when the day arrives so you both come away from the experience feeling proud of your story.

Service introduction

Before Labor: I am on call 24/7. I offer 2 prenatal visits (1 in 2nd trimester, 1 in 3rd trimester). During these visits we discuss health history, birth priorities, day-of logistics, pain management options, newborn procedures & postpartum preparation. During Labor: I stay in close contact by phone and text. When mommy is ready for in person support, I will join you at home or at your birth place, staying with you regardless of how long birth takes, regardless of how long birth takes.
