If your reading this, stop searching. Geeta is the doula YOU NEED! As a first time mom a doula was very essential for me. I interviewed several doulas and from my first meeting with Geeta, her personality and professionalism sold me. She’s very welcoming and I felt comfortable upon first introduction. She feels like family or someone you’ve known for years. Throughout my pregnancy and leading up to my delivery Geeta calmed my anxiety. She was nurturing, informative, and reliable. If I ever had questions, or concerns she was a text or call away and still is after birth. Having Geeta in my corner gave me the strength and reassurance that I could do it when things got difficult. I didn’t have the natural birth I planned for, my baby girl was VERY comfortable inside lol so I was induced at 41 weeks. Being in labor for 30 hours, pushing for 3 hours, Geeta (WHO WAS PREGNANT AS WELL AT THE TIME) didn’t leave my side until my daughter was born. That alone should tell you how dependable she is and how serious she takes her job. When in labor she supported me when the doctors or nurses were giving me a hard time. I honestly think if she wasn’t there I would’ve had a C-section. She will forever have my love and respect for how she stood by my side til the end. She also took the best pictures and footage which I get to cherish forever! After leaving the hospital, she helped me with breastfeeding in my home and made sure hubby and I were okay. She still helped days and weeks later when we felt unsure of anything. When you find out your having a baby you want to save save save. Geeta as my doula was the best dollar I’ve ever spent in my life and I’ll do it again. As a first time mom, the challenges that come with motherhood can have you question yourself and your capabilities at times. Geeta has held my hand and cheered me on the whole way and left me feeling confident and happy with my little family. I cannot stress enough how Geeta was the best decision I made. Geeta is not only a wonderful person, but an extremely caring and professional doula. She was a huge part of my postpartum experience, taking care of both me and my baby overnight. She was extremely helpful in getting breastfeeding started successfully, and got my baby on a good sleep schedule from the beginning. She was a wealth of knowledge and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a little extra care and support during your postpartum time.

We worked with Geeta for our first delivery and we couldn’t be happier. She is personable, super knowledgeable and professional in her practice. Geeta did an amazing job at making my partner and I feel much more confident and at ease with the process of going into labor, giving birth, and the days after. Where do I even begin — Geeta was simply incredible during labor/delivery and also kept our family afloat while we struggled early postpartum. She is an angel. I hired Geeta as a birth doula and not only did she excel there, guiding me through the end of pregnancy and keeping me sane / grounded when my birth plan suddenly pivoted due to some health concerns, but she also came to the rescue postpartum when I was debilitated from mastitis and couldn’t get out of bed, feed myself, or care for our baby. She spent several nights with us and helped feed our baby, kept me on track with my medication, made sure our kitchen and nursery were clean, and provided much needed breastfeeding pointers. Geeta’s calming, kind presence really lifted our spirits during some tough times. I don’t know what we would have done without her and will definitely be calling Geeta again next pregnancy!

I love Geeta! She played a pivotal role in my postpartum journey as a nighttime nurse and doula. She helped teach my partner and I different ways to soothe our daughter in the early days of parenthood, and transition her to sleeping on her own in a bassinet. Beyond the instrumental support she provided, Geeta also offered incredible emotional support. It was so helpful being able to text her after hours, and lean on her significant knowledge and expertise. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any first time parent, or parent in need of some extra support!

Geeta was an amazing help with beginning my postpartum experience and kickstarting my journey through motherhood. She provided invaluable support on lactation/breastfeeding and newborn sleep scheduling. Her overall knowledge of postpartum resources was extremely helpful and she was wonderful with handling our newborn. I would recommend her services for any first time parent!

Geeta was incredibly valuable throughout our entire process, particularly during the actual birth. Our baby came quite early and Geeta was calm, helpful and talked us through and stayed with us during the birth. We would not have been able to do so without her and we recommend her greatly. Geeta is a true gem -- an amazingly competent doula and a beautiful human being. She assisted me during the labor and delivery of my first child and I couldn't have been in better hands. She came home when active labor was about to start and helped me through the contractions with wonderful massage, relaxing essential oils, magic counter-pressure, and an open, joyful and confident attitude that inspired trust and reassurance. In the pauses between contractions she would laugh, dance with me, and teach my partner some tricks so that he could help too. When labor became more intense and I was unable to speak, she would understand and meet my needs without me having to utter a word. She helped me through labor so effectively that we only arrived at the hospital when it was time to start pushing. In the chaotic atmosphere of the delivery room, she would hold my hand and I would look at her to find strength and confidence. After my daughter was born, she stayed in the room, cheered me up, and shared our joy. I will always feel the deepest gratitude and admiration for Geeta; it was a blessing to be assisted by her and I will recommend her to my best friends.

Geeta provided newborn care for our child, which also extended to postpartum care for me. Geeta is competent and capable, and taught me so much! She’s also gentle, caring, warm and exuberant. As a new mom, with no nearby extended family, it is a huge relief to find someone who I can lean on and trust with my newborn, who also supports me and my experience. I think the world of Geeta and highly recommend her!

I can't say enough good things about Geeta! Anyone who has the chance to work with her should! She's extremely knowledgeable about all things related to pregnancy, babies, breastfeeding and parenting. Geeta is always extremely professional and reliable. She started working with us when our son was 2 months old. We noticed an immediate positive change in his sleeping habits, developmental milestones and overall day-to-day joy. She also helped me navigate the post-partum time and ensured I met my breastfeeding goals. She is a joy to be around and so patient and gifted with babies.

Geeta has a gift, is a breath of fresh air! We did an initial virtual consultation with her last Fall and knew we had found the right fit! She created a group text chat for my husband and I and would regularly check in to see how we were doing, in addition to sending helpful links with different resources. She visited our home about 2 months before the baby was born so we could Al connect in person-she walked us through our birthing plan, showed me some breastfeeding techniques, and gave me questions to ask my provider. But perhaps the most important thing she did was to remind us to adjust our expectations in case things didn’t go EXACTLY according to plan. I’ll never forget that! The day of my daughter’s birth (planned cesarean section) Geeta was ALREADY at the hospital waiting when we arrived! She checked in with us and stayed during the initial intake and while they prepped me to go to the operating room. She continued to ask the nurses questions I hadn’t even thought of! She was right there waiting in the recovery room with my husband as they wheeled my baby and I in. She brought us food from the cafeteria since we were starving! She stayed well over her agreed time to make sure we were comfortable and settled! Our daughter was born during the Omicron surge in January, so we had no visitors at the hospital. I don’t know what we would have done without Geeta. We were first time parents alone and nervous and she made all the difference. She continued to text while we were in the hospital and even offered to come visit before we were released. The real jewel was her visiting us after we had been home for 4 days. Again, isolated and nervous, Geeta was a reassuring presence as she checked in on us, held the baby while we ate dinner, showed some more breastfeeding techniques, and processed the birthing experience with us. She helped us through those challenging first few months by just checking in and seeing how we were doing and reassuring us all would be well. I can’t say enough good things about her! Grounded, calming, knowledgeable, compassionate and gentle, Geeta is the doula I would recommend every time.

Geeta is amazing! I had a long and hard labor (over 48 hours) and Geeta was by my side the entire time. She knew exactly how to massage / touch to help ease my discomfort and pain, especially since my epidural didn't work. She even helped to ease the burning sensation from the penicillin in the IV fluid. Her touch is magical! I had to push for 3.5 hours and her words helped to keep me focused as it was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Pre and postnatal, she was always very responsive and had tons of advice. In postpartum, she's helped me with breastfeeding, which is a journey on its own. I'm very grateful for all of her support during this new chapter in my life.

Geeta is an amazing doula. She gets to know her clients and serves them to the best of her knowledge and ability. Geeta was hands-on and also provided me with useful information and advice. Geeta was always easy to reach when I needed her and she was also fun! I would definitely hire Geeta again.
