Help after delivery with feeding baby and sleeping
Looking for a doula to support with care once I bring the baby home from lactation consulting to night nurse. I will need someone who is covered under insurance (naturopath or otherwise). The due date is still tbc as labor might be induced a few weeks earlier than the due date.
I will be 28 at the time of birth.. I would like to give birth at home but cannot find a midwife so may have to resort to a hospital and I’d like to have a water birth. I am open to discussing budget. I hope to have my husband and mum with me at the time of birth. I require someone calm, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in supporting women through a trauma informed lens. Also - nutrition is important to me so someone who understands healthy nutrition and holistic care. English spoken well is necessary, French is optional but would be nice. I hope to have night care at least 2-3 times a week as my husband will be travelling for work over a couple months postpartum. I hope to sleep train and get some help with laundry/basic chores for baby. Open to discuss hourly rates or packages.
1. Hospital 2. Under a thousand 3. Birth plan: whatever needs to be done to be safe for me and child. I know I would love no epidural but due to my conditions and high case of c-section I would need to. I would love natural delivery again high chance of c-section. I was told by doctor due to my health OB/GYN is more recommended then midwife but stated a doula would be a good consideration.
I need a support. Someone to walk me through things like what do I need to get? My options for delivery? Essentially an educated friend.
Plan to give birth in hospital. There is no certain birth plan. I need someone who can assist me during labor and one week postpartum. I need someone who is experience and gives me proper guidance through the process rather than just following same old traditions.
Hi Rylee. A friend of mine recommended you as I’m entering my 32 weeks next Saturday. My husband and I are currently unemployed. It’s been rough especially since we have a baby already (10 months old) with no family or support system in Canada. I need your help to prepare me for my delivery. I had my first delivery vaginally and I hope my second one would be vaginal as well but tearing free 😭 would love for a friendly supportive face to be with me when I go into labour. And some help with the baby after birth. I was told you can help us throughout our hard times..
