Plan to give birth at the Clough Birthing Center in Concord MA, estimated budget is 1500 - 2500, max 3000. Hoping to have a natural birth, no epidural, using hypnotechniques. First time mom looking for guidance and particularly help in forming birthing plan.
Currently expecting twin girls and striving for a natural birth and need an advocate in the room for me other than my husband. I will deliver at Brigham and women’s hospital. In addition to the birth doula we are focused on securing overnight care most importantly, and will also be evaluating some daytime help. Many thanks.
I plan to give birth at UMass Memorial Hospital. I don’t have a budget in mind, just collecting information for now. Am I able to use FSA funds to pay for these services? I plan to have an epidural and would like the labor & delivery process to be as quick and painless as possible.
1. I will be giving birth at Umass in Worcester 2. I’m really not sure the typical cost of a doula, I’m looking to get more information. 3. My plan is for a VBC but I do have a subchorionic hematoma and I am 24 weeks and at is currently breech so I’m not sure if it will happen for me. I want to be prepared and ready and find a doula that fits my needs in the chance I do get to have my dream of a vaginal delivery!
This is my first pregnancy, and because I am naturally a very anxious person, it is especially important to me to have a trusted support person in the delivery room who can help advocate for me. I want to ensure that my wishes are clearly communicated and respected throughout labor and delivery, as I may feel overwhelmed in the moment. Having someone act as my voice will help me feel more comfortable, supported, and confident, and will also help ensure that neither I nor my family feel overlooked during this experience. I will be giving birth at UMass Memorial and am covered by Mass General Brigham insurance, and I want to take proactive steps to make sure my care team understands and honors my needs.
I’m looking to work with someone who is interested in coaching me through the birth of my first child. I am interested in a minimal medical intervention, unmedicated birth. I am open to laboring at home for as long as is reasonable. Then I will be giving birth at Beth Israel.
Umass Worcester. Looking for someone that takes blue cross insurance. Budget is something we still need to determine. I’m looking to find out how expensive help would be. Mainly looking for someone who would help with birth plan and help advocate during birth/ give me support in labor. I had preeclampsia with first baby and felt unsupported. I want to find someone me and my husband can build trust with and then have them assist us in the delivery room.
1. Umass memorial Worcester 2. Unsure but under $1500 would be ideal 3. Don't have a birth plan yet, hoping a doula can help with one
Looking for someone to support and advocate for myself, my partner, and my baby during and after birth. I plan to give birth in a hospital (UMass Memorial Hospital). Our budget would be max $1K
I am planning to give birth and st Joseph’s hospital, who accepts insurance and looking for a doula who will be with me through the whole labor and delivery portion as my husband will have to be home with our son.
I’m going to give birth in a hospital and it would be nice to have someone to support me during the birth and immediate post partum period since I am a single mom.
I am a single first time mom with a full time job, working from home. I am looking for a doula with a medical career to guide me through the last weeks of pregnancy, building a birth plan, finding needed resources, and the postpartum experience. I live alone. I plan to give birth at MGH in Boston, as natural as possible. The budget depends on the experience and services that the doula can provide.
Me and my girlfriend are expecting in August and would love to have a home birth and also be educated during the process to prepare ourselves as much as possible for our daughter
LABOR & BIRTH PLAN (HOSPITAL) I am planning a hospital birth and desire the most natural, physiologic birth possible. My goal is an unmedicated vaginal birth. I wish to avoid a cesarean section and would like to decline epidural anesthesia, Pitocin induction or augmentation, and other routine interventions unless medically necessary. Please do not offer epidural or Pitocin unless I specifically request them. I prefer a calm, low-intervention environment with limited people in the room. I do not consent to students or unnecessary staff being present. I request minimal cervical exams, performed only when clinically necessary rather than on a routine schedule. I prefer intermittent fetal monitoring rather than continuous monitoring, as continuous monitoring is not necessary in a low-risk pregnancy and may increase the likelihood of unnecessary interventions. After birth, I request immediate and uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact with my baby. I request delayed cord clamping until the umbilical cord is white and limp, allowing for full placental blood transfer to support oxygenation, circulation, and iron stores. I request a full golden hour after birth with no routine exams, weighing, or procedures, and for nonessential staff to leave the room to allow uninterrupted bonding. I do not consent to controlled cord traction or routine fundal massage unless there is excessive bleeding or a medical indication. I am declining erythromycin eye ointment, as I have tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia. I plan to delay the Vitamin K injection until after the golden hour and initial bonding. I request that no Vitamin K be administered without my explicit consent, and that I be asked before any timing or administration. My goal is an informed, respectful birth with shared decision-making and evidence-based care.

Looking for a birth doula in a hospital setting. I have had 3 unmedicated births in a hospital with no assistance. It has always been very painful on my back. I am looking to have a good last experience for my final pregnancy.
