Castle Adventist hospital/ Queens Hospital Unsure for budget Unsure about a birth plan, looking for guidance to help figure that out
I plan to give birth at Queens Honolulu in Oahu, HI. I plan to give birth naturally and would like a supportive doula that provides birth support and help with pain management strategies. I plan to give birth in the hospital, but still desire as minimal invasive procedures as possible. I would also like a doula that is able to give education and support prior to the delivery on what to expect and knows the resources available at Queens hospital and in Oahu. I would also like some support after delivery with check ins regarding feeding and status of the baby.
I plan to deliver at Castle hospital I guess I don’t have one? I want to keep things as natural as possible I don’t really know what i’m looking for, i’ve just heard really good feedback from my mom friends who had doulas.

No set plan yet. But would love to birth at home. Less medical intervention.
I plan to give birth in Waimea queens hospital possibly in Kealekekua hospital. I honestly have no idea on budget. I’m on a low income so preferably something more affordable, max a couple hundred dollars. We have no one we feel comfortable leaving our two young children with except his mom who will be coming out from the mainland. My first two were a bit early. She was on the plane while I was in labor with my second and luckily she got here in time but it really worries me for the third. If she misses the birth he will watch the children and I will be alone to give birth to our third which scares me. I also want help advocating for as few interventions as possible. I’m planning for a natural birth since my first two were also natural. Thank you!
I plan to give birth at home unassisted but have a midwife or doula (prefer) on standby and in my corner if needed.
Home birth if no health issues arise. I would love to keep it way under $1000 if not covered completely. I want my husband and possibly mom to be there at my house. I want to have a hot tub to birth in. and the comfort of my home. Must be certified with many year's experience.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure during my first trimester, which is currently being managed with a low-dose medication. While I’m still determined to birth at home, I want to be prepared for the possibility of needing to transfer to the hospital if necessary. I would appreciate having a doula who can help facilitate communication and potentially act as a buffer between me and hospital staff if a transfer becomes necessary, ensuring my birth plan and wishes are respected. I am committed to having a natural birth with minimal to no interventions. In the event of a hospital transfer, I do not want any unnecessary interventions or vaccinations for my baby, and I would love for you to help advocate for these preferences if the need arises. I’m looking for emotional and physical support during labor, as well as help with comfort measures like breathing techniques, massage, positioning. I value a calm, reassuring presence and would love a doula who can guide both me and my partner through the process.
