Hello! My husband and I intend to have our baby in the Duluth location at Essentia Health. I am currently 21 weeks and am a first time mom. So very new to all of this! As for my birth plan, I don’t have much of one just yet, but as of right now I would like to have a natural birth and have the option of laboring in a tub. I love the idea of having a doula since I will not be having a midwife. My OB has practiced midwifery, but a hospital setting was not my first choice. As for a budget, I have done little to no research on how much a doula even costs, so I am unsure!

Birth: hospital Looking into getting a night nanny to help out during the first few weeks after birth as we don’t live around family.

1. I’m giving birth in a hospital with midwives who work alongside OBGYNs 2. I need to find a doula who works with Tricare West Select. They will cover all the costs of a doula for birth and up to 6 hours of postpartum care 3. I am hoping to go ~all naturaaal~ but this is my first time so I’m definitely open to things changing. One of the requirements for using the midwife suites is no epidural. I’m hoping to use as many other helpful tactics as possible. Getting in the tub, aromatics, nitrous oxide (if I need pain meds) etc. I’m not opposed to an epidural if it comes down to that, but hoping to not be asked constantly if I want it or if I’m in a lot of pain or if I want to be checked.

Either at a birthing center or at home depending on what’s recommended. No budget, whatever is needed to have the birth experience I would like. I trust my body to do what’s it’s built to do I would just like someone to walk me through the steps and be there in case of any emergency.

I am a mom of 3 children and am pregnant with twins I don’t have the help I’d desire by spouse, friends and family. I would like help in light cleaning/ support throughout the night. We plan to deliver at Mother baby Center in Anoka Possibly $1200 for the month. I am hoping to go vaginal with finding ways to turn baby if need too.

I am giving birth in Hudson and looking for a doula that is registerred with tricare. They don't need to be in network, just registered. Thank you!

Plan to give birth at mercy hospital Budget - i have medica and Medicaid straight ma ffs, hoping that insurance would cover otherwise I can’t afford Birth plan - labor at home as long as possible. Support from spouse (husband). Open to changing my Mind but would like to not have an epidural this time. This is my third baby.

Maple grove Hospital $2000 I am looking for a doula that will be supportive of an unmedicated, no to low intervention birth. I lean more holistic "crunchy" beliefs and would be supportive in a medical setting at the hospital.

We would need someone to care for newborn at night. We may also possibly consider someone to help with supper and also bedtime routine. We have two other children ages 2 and 5.
