Hello Everyone! I am Jennifer Davis, the owner of Joy & Laughter Developmental Therapy. I am an Occupational Therapist by trade. After several years in the field, I quickly realized that there was a great need for quality, caring therapists and in 2012- JLD Therapy was born. We are a premiere pediatric therapy clinic located at 2 locations in San Jose & Santa Clara. We offer a wide range of services including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Feeding Therapy and Physical Therapy. All of our therapists are highly trained and ready to help. Our multidisciplinary team of experts will coordinate with you and each other to create a unique, high-quality, play-based treatment plan for your child. The future doesn’t have to be scary. We offer Occupational Therapy, Feeding Therapy, Speech Therapy and Physical Therapy (Coming Soon!). Developmental Therapy is a discipline that looks at the entirety of how a child is developing – a “global” approach that ensures that every child is developing at their own personal best. Because children learn through play, anything that interrupts their ability to interact with the world around them can have an effect on the skills they acquire. Our therapists assess your child by looking at their entire development, then create play activities that will help them overcome obstacles and boost their confidence. At JLD Therapy, we believe that global approach should also apply to how we structure your child’s services – so we coordinate between disciplines and therapists to ensure that we identify every resource available to help conquer roadblocks and boost your child’s progress!
