About me

Hi! I'm Jen. I am passionate about birth! I have been a Certified Birth Doula for 11 years, and a labor and delivery registered nurse for 2 years. I have seen firsthand how important education is in the birthing space, and am also an Evidence Based Birth Instructor. Education, Self advocacy and creating a good birth team positively impacts outcomes in EVERY situation. I have experienced the full spectrum of birth, from intimate home births to high risk inductions. From parents catching their own babies to stat cesareans. I love what I do! I also love cats, gardening, family time, blending herbal remedies, and hanging out with my friends drinking coffee.

Service introduction

I offer rolling monthly Evidence Based Birth Childbirth Classes. These classes are virtual, accelerated 4 week classes that begin on the first Friday of each month. I also offer a private 4 hour personalized birth class tailored to your own needs and preferences, which can be presented virtually, or in person. Birth doula and postpartum services. Bengkung belly binding and massage. We do not accept insurance but we do assist you in reimbursement.

By the end of this class, you should feel confident in your ability to embrace your birth experience with knowledge and power! Evidence Based Birth® has created an in-depth and informative curriculum that includes just about everything you want or need to know about childbirth. Your class includes online videos to be watched from the comfort of your home, weekly instruction & mentorship from me (your Evidence Based Birth® Instructor), a workbook, and the opportunity to connect with other expecting families. We meet for 2 hours each Friday for 4 weeks.
