Birth Support
My birth package can be customized to your needs! The standard package starts with: * 2 prenatal visits * continuous support throughout labor (via text and phone call in early labor, and in person usually starting when you get into active labor!) * 1 postpartum visit Additional prenatal visits and postpartum visits can be added on to suit the level of support you are looking for!
Daytime Postpartum Doula Support
I offer daytime postpartum doula services between 8:30am and 6:30pm and I generally require a 4 hour minimum. These can be booked as a package with your birth support (i.e adding on x amount of postpartum support hours to be used within the first 3 months of babies arrival) or at an hourly rate if you are only looking for postpartum support! This support can focus on newborn care instructions and help, recovery for the birthing person, and overall adjustment to your new family member! Great for new parents who don't have experience with newborns! Have someone there to support you so that you can support your baby!
Nighttime Newborn Care
I offer nighttime newborn care for families who just want to get a good nights sleep while a trusted and trained professional watches over their new bundle of joy! Nighttime care usually involves caring for baby and assisting with light household baby related chores (i.e. bottle washing, pump washing, baby laundry). If you are breastfeeding I can bring baby to you to feed throughout the night allowing you to get back to sleep quickly as I can take over to burp and get baby back to sleep! If you are pumping, I can bring you your pump and the afterwards store your milk and wash pump parts so that you can go back to sleep!
Scheduled Induction Add-On
If you know you will be going in for a scheduled induction and would like guidance and support throughout your entire induction process, this add on is perfect for you!
Inductions can sometimes be a long and slow process, especially if it is your first baby and your cervix just isn't ready. Most doulas will only arrive to be with you once you are in active labor with your induction, but this can be 24-48 hours after you have already been in the hospital. As a doula who specializes in inductions, I have found that those earlier stages are where a lot of trauma and interventions tend to start to accumulating and many families have found having their doula there to help them navigate all of this extremely helpful.
This add on ensures that I am with you as much as possible during the induction process which allows for support and advocacy in the early stages of the induction. This additional fee covers the added time I will be spending with you in labor, and an additional prenatal visit to go through the induction process and talk about how it may effect your birth plan!
