I am a Brown and Georgetown-trained psychiatrist with a special interest in treating mood and anxiety disorders in adults. As a physician, I believe that treating the whole person and promoting wellness can increase the joy in one's life. I have expertise in treating women’s mental health throughout the reproductive life cycle using medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications. By giving evidence-based recommendations informed by research, I help women make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Similarly, I enjoy working with young adults as they navigate the many life transitions that come with adulthood.

My medical expertise is informed by the diverse settings in which I have practiced psychiatry. This includes women’s mental health programs, intensive outpatient programs, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric units, academic specialty medical centers, and college counseling centers. I see adults - ages 18 to 65 - of all genders. Having completed psychiatry residency in Washington, DC, I have worked with adults from all walks of life. In particular, the reproductive period is a time that is characterized by hormonal flux and significant social role change. I am experienced in treating women with symptoms, stressors, or concerns while navigating the changes across a woman’s reproductive cycle.
