I plan to give birth at Shawnee Mission Advent (or at my current place of treatment, KMU on Rainbow Blvd) and I am looking for a Doula in Network. Budget $1500. Birth plan: unmedicated, delayed cord clamping, other things.

I’m due with my second baby in November and hoping for an unmedicated hospital birth. Looking for a birth doula under $500. Will not need prior care or postpartum, just wanting extra labor support. With our first I made it to 9cm unmedicated, laboring almost 30 hours but didn’t have the training or tools to stay calm. It was a beautiful healthy birth still but wanting to try again! Overcoming fear with extra emotional support as well as helping the labor progress as well as it can.

I plan to give birth in a hospital and my budget is unsure right now. I am not pregnant yet but I am looking for someone that would be a good fit once I am pregnant. I want to try and unmedicated labor, or to at least how far I can get on my own. I need someone to support and advocate for me when I'm in the hospital. I am open to getting and epidural but I don't want to be stuck in a bed for my whole labor process.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. Unsure I am hoping to be as natural as possible. I am not comfortable with homebirths, but I am also uncomfortable with an epidural. I want minimum interventions necessary.

This is my 5th pregnancy in 8 years. 2 chemicals. I have a 7 year old, a 19 months old, & am pregnant naturally at 35. We didn't try to prevent we used natural family planning. We are beyond excited about the surprise addition. We want a different better experience outside a hospital preferably at home. However we aren't against hospital or birthing centers for the birth. We are located in Platte City, Missouri and plan to give birth at north Kansas City hospital. We would like to stay under $1000 for a doula. We currently don’t have a birth plan but we are looking for someone with strong Christian background, can help educate us better with a birth plan, the birthing process(natural and medicated), what comes after, vaccines, and postpartum.
