Hi, I’m so thankful you’re here. My name is Kara, and I’m a prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula who views this work as a sacred calling—an opportunity to walk alongside families as they enter one of life’s most sacred seasons. I believe that birth is a beautiful, God-designed experience, and it’s my heart’s desire to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and deeply seen. Whether it’s your first baby or your fifth, I will walk with you in love, prayer, and steady encouragement, gently reminding you that you are never alone. I strive to create a peaceful, prayerful space where you feel supported, confident, and reminded that God is present in every contraction, every breath, and every moment of your journey. My philosophy is rooted in trust: trust in your body, trust in the process, and most importantly, trust in the Lord who has authored your story and knit your baby together with intention and care. Whether you desire prayer, quiet presence, or a reassuring voice during labor, as your doula, my role is not just physical or emotional—I am here to pray with you, speak life over you, and remind you of the promises God has spoken over your motherhood. It would be an honor to walk this path with you.

My services are designed to meet you where you are, offering care that is personal, prayerful, and centered around your unique needs and desires. - Prenatal Support During pregnancy, I provide emotional support, guidance, and education to help you feel confident, informed, and deeply cared for as you prepare for birth. You’ll have unlimited texts and calls with me throughout your pregnancy, so you always have someone to reach out to with questions, concerns, or encouragement. We’ll also meet for four 60-minute prenatal appointments, where we’ll dive into a variety of topics tailored to your needs. These include understanding the stages of labor, learning helpful information about the birthing process, and creating a birth plan that reflects your values and vision. We’ll also focus on building your birth team, planning for partner involvement, and practicing breathing and comfort techniques. Additionally, I provide guidance on posture and positioning for labor, as well as education to support your pelvic floor health. My goal is to make sure you feel emotionally supported and physically prepared for the incredible journey ahead. In addition, we’ll discuss your birth preferences, prepare for labor, and address any questions or concerns you may have along the way. - Birth Support When it's time to welcome your baby, I am there to offer steady, calming support—both physically and emotionally. Whether you’re seeking encouragement, hands-on comfort measures, or a reassuring presence, I walk with you and your birth partner every step of the way and everything is centered on your needs. You’ll have unlimited texts and calls with me, and I begin my on-call period at 30 weeks, ensuring I’m ready whenever your labor begins. Once labor is underway, I will be there to support you throughout the entire birth—for as long as you desire my presence. My role is to help you stay grounded, comforted, and confident as you move through each stage. I offer both emotional and physical support, including pain management techniques, breathing support, guided coping mechanisms, massage, positioning and movement, and holistic tools to encourage comfort and progress. I also support mobility, help with hydration and snacks, and provide warm and cold tools as needed to help you stay comfortable and focused. Whether you’re birthing at home, in a hospital, or a birth center, I strive to create a peaceful, prayerful space where you feel safe, empowered, and fully supported in mind, body, and spirit. - House helper Loving care and practical support for your home and growing family. When you’re welcoming a new baby and navigating the busyness of family life, our House Helper services are here to provide the extra hands and the peace of mind you need. These services include a free consultation, visits up to two months after birth, and 1-3 helper visits per week that are scheduled according to your family’s needs and preferences between the hours of 8am-4pm Mon-Fri. The House Helper service is not doula care, postpartum doula care, or medical support. It is a separate offering designed to assist families as they adjust to life with a new baby by providing practical, gentle non-medical care with day-to-day tasks and childcare during this beautiful and busy season. As a house helper I also can aid as someone to talk. Although after birth can be a wonderful transition it can tend to be emotional and difficult, and as a house helper I can lend a listening ear. In each visit, I’m also happy to offer light household support, like tidying up, preparing simple meals or snacks, and helping create a calm, restful environment for your recovery. Whether it’s processing your birth experience, navigating feeding, or simply having someone to check in with—you don’t have to do it alone.
