I'm Katie Flaherty! I'm a mom to two girls, registered nurse, and international board certified lactation consultant. I worked in the pediatric space for almost 10 years prior to becoming a lactation consultant in 2017. My mission is to provide new and expectant parents with the support and education they need to make informed decisions about feeding. I believe there is NO wrong way to feed your baby and there are so many tools we can use in our journey! I am passionate about maternal mental health and helping families navigate this postpartum time.

Initial Lactation Consult

INITIAL CONSULT 375 2-2.5 hours In home visit Visit can include: weighted feed, adjustments to positioning and latch, pump set up, flange fitting, tailored feeding plan, and more! All visits include notes regarding personalized plan of care! I will provide you with documentation to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.

Bottle Refusal

BOTTLE REFUSAL 300 1.5 hours In home visit I can offer support for all things bottle feeding! Whether you’re introducing bottles for the first time, troubleshooting, or dealing with bottle refusals, this visit can help you and your family get on track!

Virtual Feeding Consult

1.5 hours
Prenatal consult, planning to return to work, weaning, etc.

Whether you’re introducing bottles for the first time, troubleshooting, or dealing with bottle refusals, this visit can help you and your family get on track! VIRTUAL CONSULT Prenatal consult, planning to return to work, weaning, etc. 30 MINUTE CALL We can troubleshoot, answer questions, plan for going back to work, and more! As a private practice IBCLC, I do not have the ability to accept insurance directly; BUT as defined by the Affordable Care Act (ACA), most insurance companies reimburse for lactation services. *Fee is due at the time of consultation.

Unfortunately no, but most insurance companies will reimburse for lactation visits. After the visit, I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance!
