I’m so grateful that I’ve started my post partum doula journey with Kaybee! She is light hearted, knowledgeable, patient and kind. She provided both soft and hard skills so that we can excel in this sacred form of work that I am called to. I’m excited and grateful to have her in my life as I grow my perinatal career! I took the post partum doula course virtually with her and I learned SO much more than I already know as someone with a standard level of experience with little ones and their moms.

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Kaybee supporting our family during the early weeks with our baby. From the moment we came home from the hospital through the first eight weeks, she was calm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to both our newborn’s needs and ours as new parents. She brought a sense of reassurance to what can be an overwhelming time—helping with soothing, feeding routines, and offering practical guidance that quickly built our confidence. Just as importantly, her warmth and care made us feel fully supported every step of the way. The nights she was with us allowed us to rest and recharge, which made a huge difference. She also had an amazing backup, Peggy, who was also invaluable. Knowing we had such thoughtful, seamless support—no matter the night—gave us real peace of mind. We truly can’t recommend Kaybee and her team enough and are so grateful for the role she played in helping us navigate those first special weeks as a family.

Training with Kaybee was such a welcoming and uplifting experience. From the very beginning, she created a safe space to learn, ask questions, and grow with confidence. Her guidance felt genuine, supportive, and deeply rooted in care for both doulas and the families we serve. I left feeling prepared, encouraged, and truly ready to step into this work with heart. I wholeheartedly recommend Kaybee Village and CAPPA to anyone feeling called to postpartum doula work.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kay. From the moment she stepped into our home, she provided the support, knowledge, and reassurance that every first time parent needs. We first started working together when I learned I had a breech baby and I found Kay’s spinning babies workshop to be helpful as my husband and I decided what was right for us as a family. Her informative-but-not-pushy support style continued during the postpartum phase, which was great given we encountered a number of early challenges with our baby (latching issues & minor hip dysplasia to name a few). She was a calming presence during such a vulnerable time, always knowing exactly what to do—whether it was helping with newborn care, offering guidance on feeding and daytime nap techniques, or simply giving me the space to rest and recover from my c-section. Her kindness and expertise made all the difference in those early weeks, and I truly don’t know how we would have managed without her. If you’re looking for a compassionate and skilled postpartum doula, I highly recommend Kay (and the wonderful backup doulas she partners with when necessary!).

I was fortunate enough to take the New Parent Education class online with Kaybeevillage right before Christmas and I am so happy that I did! The information that I learned during the course will enable me to be a resource for the parents and families that I serve in the capacity of family childcare program and Nanny Agency in my area and state. Thank you for providing such a relaxed, yet informative class that has equipped me with the information and skills to facilitate my own New parent courses.

Kay was my in-person birth doula. She came in as a backup doula when I had unexpected contractions two weeks prior to my due date. Her communication was clear and prompt via phone, text and in person. She came to our home calm and always prepared. Kay stayed with us most of the day helping me labor at home. She respected our wishes and birth plan that we had crafted earlier. She served as a strong pillar helping both me and my husband. Part of her preparation I think contributed to a speedy delivery where I used much of the shared breathing techniques. Then after my son was born she stayed with me a bit after and had nourishing snacks as we were waiting to be moved to our room. Thank you Kay!

We worked with Kay as an overnight doula in 2022 and will be working with her again later this year for our second. She’s phenomenally knowledgeable - she taught me how to breastfeed, taught our daughter how to take a bottle with total ease, and taught us a ton on general newborn care. She’s a joy to be around and we consider her an integral part of our journey to parenthood.

Kaybee was an excellent doula and baby care specialist. She was always reading the latest research on what’s recommended, had a ton of knowledge about baby sleep and lactation. She cooked delicious healthy meals and supported my post partum journey really well. I trusted her to watch the baby for me when I went out one day with my entire family to celebrate a milestone birthday and she’s the only person I would ever trust my baby with. Definitely recommend her.

I never knew that a stranger can make you feel like you’ve known them your whole life. I have never met someone that generally cared in such a short period of time .The level of support that I got while giving birth was like my mother standing by my side, my Doula happened to know more than the doctors in the hospital everything she suggested they didn’t listen at first, but eventually had to follow. She even took the time out of her busy schedule to cook for me , rub my feet and treat me like a queen after giving birth and dealing with my child being in the Nicu.Today makes 2 years since I gave birth and we communicate and share pictures. I just want to say thanks 🙏 for everything you’ve done for us.

We had Kaybee support us through our birth and postpartum journey and every step of the way I felt like I had someone in my corner. Between mouth ties and some breastfeeding complications, we had a rocky start to say the least. Kaybee was able to identify the issues so quickly and temper my anxieties with a sense of compassion that I will never forget. Any new mom would be lucky to have access to her wealth of knowledge. There were a couple of rescheduling requests but usually one of Kaybee’s colleagues, Peggy, was there to step in and we absolutely loved her!!

As a first time mom, I was so grateful that Kaybee was there for my family from the night we arrived home from the hospital. We worked with Kaybee as a post-partum doula and couldn’t recommend her more highly! She is a patient teacher and a dedicated caregiver to both birthing parents and their little ones. Kaybee went above and beyond to support us during our transition to parenthood, and set us up with systems for success. She answered all my many questions on various topics with evidence and compassion, and is eager to share her expertise. Many thanks to Kaybee and her team for their help and guidance!
