Service introduction

Pregnancy can be such an exciting time, but it can also be a time full of unknowns and uncertainty. You have many decisions to make over the course of your pregnancy. While you’re picking out baby names and organizing baby clothes, it's important to make your nutrition a priority as well. Proper nutrition is essential for both you and your baby, but figuring out what to eat during pregnancy can be very confusing. The nutrients that are supplied to your baby must come from the foods you eat, otherwise, they will be taken from your own body. This depletion of your reserves can have many unfortunate consequences on your own health.  With the support of a Certified Nutrition Consultant, it’s possible to reduce your chances of fatigue, constipation, heartburn, feelings of nausea, mood swings, pre-eclampsia, anemia, gestational diabetes, postpartum depression, and more. Nourishing your pregnancy will help your baby build solid bones, a strong immunity, healthy tissue and organs. It’s also possible to reduce their risk of birth defects, low birth weight, allergies, conditions such as eczema or asthma, and many potential health problems later in life. Providing your body with the proper nutrition will help provide your baby with the best start possible. Nutrition consulting will empower you with the knowledge and confidence that you are doing the best for your baby and your body.

Recipe Guides (price quoted is for 1 guide)
I currently have 2 guides: 1. Smoothies to nourish yourself well. Including 2 recipes to support low immunity, 1 to support energy levels, 1 to support stress, muscle aches and pains, and 1 to support nausea. 2. Smoothies to nourish your pregnancy. Including 1-2 recipes for each trimester. Both guides come with information around nutrition, and how they can help support you. The recipes are all smoothie based. This is because: * Smoothies are a great way to boost your intake of fruit and vegetables; * Blending fruit and vegetables into small food particle sizes helps maximise the nutrient absorption; * Smoothies are quick and easy to prepare, making them an easy addition to your day.
