I am a certified labor/birth and postpartum doula. I am also a Newborn Care Specialist, a certified newborn sleep specialist, and Lamaze trained childbirth educator. In addition to giving birth to 10 children myself, I have helped hundreds of families in the 30-plus years I've been doing this work. I feel it really DOES take a village to raise a child, and I am always honored to be invited to that village. Whether it's assisting in getting information so parents can make informed decisions in labor or birth, or teaching new parents how to bathe their babies, or establishing sleep routines to help all household members to "sleep like a baby", the role I am invited into is an important one that I do not take lightly.

Born and raised in the Seattle Metropolitan Area, Harneet has served various local and international communities through nonprofits and believes helping others is the highest honor. She is now aspiring to continue the privilege of helping others by offering services as a Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula with the goal of becoming a Certified Professional Midwife. She is currently working on training as a Fertility Doula to offer pre-conception services to meet the growing needs of the community.
