Full Spectrum Doula with over 10 years of infant care experience serving the Puget Sound + beyond. My primary focus is on postpartum care, and I am extremely passionate about nourishment. I believe everyone is deserving of support, and I'd love to be part of your journey! In my free time, I love partaking in comforting hobbies such as pottery, cooking, reading, and gardening. I also like to balance those hobbies with traveling the globe, rollerblading everywhere I can, and scuba diving in the beautiful, cold depths.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Overnight Package

I offer overnight doula support, consisting of infant care (feedings, diaper changing, soothing), light housekeeping (folding laundry, doing dishes, sterilizing bottles), and support of the parents (ensuring everyone’s comfortable, listening and companionship, guidance with lactation, pumping, and milk storage, guidance on infant soothing techniques, reassuring parents by answering any questions they may have, and providing resources and referrals).

$55 USD · Per hour

Labor Support Package

My birth package is comprehensive and I offer a wide range of support. Email, text, and phone support from the time of signing, two prenatal visits, assistance with creating a birth plan, continuous physical, emotional, and practical support from early labor to after delivery, and one postnatal home visit. I am open to discussing low-cost and probono options as well.

Meal Preparation

I offer a customizable meal preparation package, which can include breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, baked goods, and desserts. Meals cooked fresh and stored in your refrigerator/freezer, or ready to eat. I also provide optional homemade teas and tinctures to aid in sleep, postpartum healing, and milk production. I do the grocery shopping for ingredients, and I am accommodating to dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and specific allergens). Pricing varies depending on needs, schedule, number of meals, etc. Shoot me an inquiry to learn more!

What to expect

I’m extremely passionate about cooking and offer meal preparation services, in house cooking, and can supply fresh organic ingredients. I offer overnight care, and shifts up to 10 hours.I offer all infant care from bathing to feeding, to doing baby related cleaning and chores, and even lactation/ chestfeeding support.

Joy was one of two night doulas that we used for the first six weeks of our twins life. Having her in our lives was invaluable, so much so that we extended her contract 2 weeks further than originally planned. She is knowledgeable, skilled and easy to talk to. She provided us with basic tips about baby caring and twin caring when asked, and showed immense skill and love when handling our newborns. We had her for 9 hours every night, which meant that I got lots of sleep but also someone to debrief the day on, and look for tips and improvement. She seemed genuinely happy to arrive every evening, and she cared for our babies as if they were her own. Her calming presence set us at ease, and the babies seemed to always be calmer with her as well. We have told many other pregnant friends about her skill, but recommend her to anyone looking for a night nurse you can trust.

I hired Joy in January after being alone with baby#3 for the first 2 months and almost reaching a point of losing my health. Joy has been the best doula ever. I tried a couple others. And didn't go with them but chose Joy. She is very professional and very knowledgeable and patient with baby. I also tend to talk a lot from my adhd and she never says anything, just always patiently listens! I would highly recommend her to any family with a baby or babies on the way. She also made some suggestions with the sleep sack, since bub sleeps a lot better at night. An excellent doula. 10/10.
