I’ll be honest. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we hired a birth doula, but I can’t imagine our labor without Haley. She supported both my wife and me from day one. During labor, she stayed calm, guided us through every stage, and helped me be the partner I wanted to be. Her experience and steady presence made our hospital birth feel so much more peaceful and empowering. The biggest thing I noticed was how safe and confident my wife felt with Haley by her side. If you’re looking for a compassionate birth doula, pregnancy support, or labor support, I can’t recommend Haley enough. She was one of the best investments we made for our growing family.

I never imagined my birth would end in an unplanned C-section, but having Haley as my birth doula made all the difference. She brought a calm, reassuring presence that helped both me and my partner feel safe, informed, and supported through every unexpected turn. Her postpartum visits were just as meaningful. She arrived with nourishing teas and so much love, creating a space where I felt truly seen and cared for. She gave me the time and support to process my birth, which was an invaluable part of my healing. If you’re looking for a compassionate birth and postpartum doula, I can’t recommend Haley enough.

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t sure how to support my partner during labor, but Haley made a huge difference. She guided me in real time and helped me stay calm and present. I felt like I could actually support my partner instead of just watching. Her presence was steady and reassuring for both of us, and I’d highly recommend her to any couple looking for a doula.

Frequently asked questions

Do you support all types of families?

Absolutely! I welcome and support all family structures and strive to create a compassionate, inclusive, and judgment-free space

When should postpartum support begin?

Support can begin immediately after birth or months later. Many families benefit most from support during the first 40 days, but postpartum care is valuable at every stage.

What is Ayurvedic-inspired postpartum care?

Ayurvedic-inspired postpartum care draws from traditional Indian postpartum practices that honor the weeks after birth as a sacred time for rest, nourishment, warmth, and recovery. These traditions recognize that pregnancy and birth ask a great deal from the body, mind, and nervous system, and that healing happens best when mothers and families are deeply supported. My approach focuses on creating warmth, grounding, nourishment, and gentle restoration during the postpartum period. Care may include nourishing meal prep and herbal teas, rest support, belly binding or wrapping, herbal belly pastes, pelvic steaming (yoni steaming when appropriate), mother warming practices, restorative touch and gentle massage, newborn support, emotional care, and grounding rituals to help you feel held during this transition. Each session is individualized to your recovery, preferences, and stage of postpartum. Together, we create care that supports healing, replenishment, and helping you reconnect with your body after birth.

What does postpartum support include?

Postpartum support is individualized and designed to help you feel nourished, rested, and supported as you recover and adjust to life with your baby. Care may include emotional support, newborn care guidance, feeding support, birth story processing, and creating space for rest and recovery. Practical support may include light household help, meal preparation, herbal teas and nourishment, sibling support, laundry, tidying, and helping create rhythms that support your family during the postpartum transition. Physical and restorative care may include belly binding or wrapping, herbal belly pastes, pelvic steaming (when appropriate), mother warming practices, restorative touch, gentle massage, grounding practices, Reiki, and Ayurvedic-inspired postpartum traditions focused on warmth, nourishment, and recovery. Every family’s needs are different, and each visit is customized to provide the support that feels most nourishing and helpful for you. 🤍

What is a Closing of the Bones Ceremony?

Closing of the Bones is a postpartum ceremony designed to honor your transition into parenthood through rest, reflection, gentle bodywork, wrapping techniques, and intentional care. Many parents find it grounding, emotional, and deeply restorative.
