I plan to give birth in a hospital. I am a young first time mother so my budget is low i will only be supported off my baby’s father’s income. I don't particularly have a birth plan but i do know that the stuff I've been researching doctors often decline the mothers opinion and do as they please. I am very soft spoken so i would love if i had someone there to speak up for me and my baby.

We are looking for a postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to support us during the early weeks after bringing home our baby girl (due August 2026). Ideally, we would love someone who has formal training or certification in postpartum care, newborn support, and breastfeeding, with at least 2–5 years of hands-on experience. A calm, nurturing presence and strong intuition with both baby and mother are very important to us. Our baby will be a newborn, and we are hoping for support with newborn care, soothing techniques, feeding guidance (breastfeeding support is a plus), and helping establish healthy sleep rhythms. We are also looking for someone who understands the emotional and physical needs of a mother during postpartum recovery and can provide gentle, supportive care during that time. Additional responsibilities may include light household tasks such as baby laundry, tidying up common areas, simple meal prep, and helping maintain a peaceful, organized environment. If the provider has experience with sleep shaping or gentle sleep routines, that would be a bonus, but not required. We prefer someone who values a natural, low-tox lifestyle and is mindful of the products and approaches used around our baby. A faith-aligned or spiritually grounded individual would also be a wonderful fit, though not required. We are currently exploring both daytime and overnight support and are open to discussing a schedule that works well for both sides. Based on local rates, we are anticipating a budget of approximately $25–$35 per hour depending on experience and services provided, but we are open to discussing this for the right fit. We are looking for someone who will feel like a trusted, supportive presence in our home during this special season.
Plan on giving a hospital birth most likely c-section. Have seen doulas on social media I know different people do different things. I’ve had one baby and wanted to see what it would be like to have another with a doula!

Hello, I’m looking into learning more about helping my 19mo sleep through the night. We wrestled through the first year of life with bad sleep and used cosleeping to survive. Then around 12 mo he started sleeping through the night, almost consistently. Now, we’ve lost our way since a series of colds, ear infections, molars, regressions, etc..

I plan on giving birth at the hospital with the budget of $1,000. I’m kind of scared because I don’t have a birth plan just yet but I am an African American female and I know the risk of delivery. Therefore, I just want to make sure things can go as smoothly as possible
