Latch and tongue tie consultation. My infant(3months old on the 14th of February) has a tongue tie we’ve never had latching issues or painf fo either of us - she has been exclusively breastfed since birth. That is until a week ago, she started at daycare so I’ve started to introduce bottles, she struggles a little bit. Clearly it’s a learning process, she prefers my nipples. Since I’m pumping and nursing now, my nipples are raw and feel like they a burning and being ripped. She look as bad as they feel. I was wondering if introducing a bottle could have challenged her latch with her tongue tie and if it would be helpful to have her tongue tie snipped. Be both have Molina insurance so I’m hoping to find help with little to no copay - we are low income and looking for working, currently have no job.
3 week old possible oral ties and/or reflux. Was told at birth maybe a slight upper lip tie but no concerns (was told the same with first born and he ended up having severe upper lip AND tongue tie revised at 18 months). This baby doesn’t like being on back long, side is ok, prefers upright a lot. Seems to swallow air during nursing sometimes and hear the gulp and then coughs. Right breast has powerful let down I think and chokes on that at first until pressure releases. Want to check all avenues to make sure little guy stays happy and less gassy.
Help with finding comfortable breastfeeding position and maintaining good latch for my 4 week old newborn.
I am currently pregnant for the first time with Di Di twins. I plan to give birth at tacoma general hospital. I just found out that my molina healthcare covers Doulas so I wanted to look into it.
lactation help to establish breast feeding and storage of breast milk
Plan to give birth in Tacoma at St. Joseph Family Birth Center. My goal is to go as natural as possible- labor at home for as long as possible and avoid pictocin is my big one. Prefer no epidural. We do live 45-60min from the hospital.
The hospital we will be using is Virginia mason franciscan at St. Joseph’s hospital. We don’t have a set budget (open) as money is not a huge concern. My wife (Shondi) wants to have a natural birth and is open to using nitrous oxide, but would prefer to avoid an epidural. Shondi is a 40 yo, African American cisgendered woman. We are looking for an advocate during birth and potentially postpartum care. We have already run into issues with doctors about our plan and care. While I’m confident and competent in my ability to support and advocate for Shondi I would benefit from the support, expertise, and knowledge of a doula. We’re looking for a doula that has experience (2+ years) and have experience and knowledge supporting women of color. No out of state please

I plan to give birth at Swedish Hospital off Broadway in Seattle. My budget is low and I'm seeking someone that knows they are covered with Kaiser. My birth plan is detailed out in a document. But the abbreviated version is I would like a natural birth but welcome medical interventions like epidurals and pain relief measures. I struggle with anxiety and need emotional support.
