I plan to give birth at Madigan Army Center Hospital at JBLM. The budget will be covered by my tricare health insurance. I have not created a birth plan yet, and I need help making one. My husband is currently away in Korea and so I will be alone until 1 week before my due date.

We are looking to find information on a night postpartum doula OR night nanny. I'm looking for night care specifically so unsure which will suffice. My mother in law will be here helping for a couple weeks however, we would like continued care after she leaves. We are looking for 3-4 nights a week for approximately 1-2 months as I may have a c section and need all the help I can get. Hello there, this is my first baby, I not sure what to expect when the time is here... I just maybe looking to get some education like breastfeeding classes and child birth or prenatal clases, wondering if you offer that ? Also maybe want to know If your services include coming to my house and assisting when labor begins to help me get through contractions in the best way possible. My husband and I have decided to have our baby at the hospital with my OB. However, I would like to have more information to see if I would be interested in hiring a doula. My insurance is Tricare by the way.

I plan to give birth at the hospital, but want to try a water birth if available. I always want to know if it’s covered by insurance. Preferably someone of color who is very knowledgeable.

Support during labor, ways to manage pain and prevent long term physical damage, support with newborn care and breastfeeding. I plan on having a VBAC so I’m be in the hospital. My husband is military (currently deployed) and we live across the country from all family. I’m not sure when he’ll be back so I might be alone. I have three other children. I want to manage pain without medicine as long as possible. I would love to prevent tearing or a c section. I would like skin to skin and to breastfeed. Besides that I’m flexible.

I want to give birth in a birthing center not a hospital. Any birthing center within a few cities of Tacoma would work. Ideally the birthing inn, but not all midwives have privileges there. If possible I would prefer a midwife who is a CNM and is trained to administer nitrous oxide during birth and understands my needle phobia. My husband would like to catch the baby so I would like the midwife to collaborate and work with my husband to ensure a safe delivery. I need doula care before and after birth as well if possible. Tricare select is our insurance, hopefully someone who takes this specific insurance.

Planning on planned CSection at St. Joseph hospital in Tacoma, WA. My last pregnancy the post partum anxiety and depression was bad and I would like more support. I’m not quite sure about my budget. We had a day nanny last time and we paid about $22 an hour. So based off of that I just want to do some research.

I want an all natural home birth with no medications or medical intervention

I would like the caregiver to be CPR certified. Must have 2 years experience, bonus if experienced with premies. My daughter was born Nov 27, 2024 at 32 weeks via emergency c section. She spent the first month in the NICU. Possibly has silent reflux so must be fed upright. Other duties would include washing bottles and making sure formula is made. She is on a higher calorie count so we have a recipe to follow when mixing formula as well.

Mom is Black and has growing fears due to the alarming maternal health disparities that impact Black women, and is also concerned about the potential for postpartum depression. Dad is white and eager to learn, but doesn’t yet know much about the birth process. We are both seeking someone who can help us feel empowered, educated, and supported—emotionally, physically, and mentally. Ideally, we’d love a doula who is culturally sensitive, affirming, and experienced in supporting families navigating birth and early parenthood with compassion and care We plan to give birth at St. Elizabeth’s in Enumclaw, WA, we would like to keep our budget around $1000. We don’t have an official birth plan. But plan for IV meds MAYBE and epidural but wanting to hold off on that.
