I plan to give birth in a hospital but would like to deliver naturally without medications My estimated price is $500
I experienced a very traumatic birth with my first child, and that experience shaped how important support feels to me this time around. I’m hoping to work with a doula who can provide steady, compassionate care as I prepare for this birth. I’m on a tight budget and am open to low-cost or volunteer support options.
Home birth, flat rate of $600, I don’t have a birth plan or what that inquires

I am 3 months pregnant and I would like a doula to help support me through pre labor, during labor, and after labor. I want someone to help stand up for my needs during birth and after. I plan to give birth In Lafayette Indiana. I want to try and stay home once my water breaks till as long as possible and to try not to have an epidural if I can stand the pain. I want to try and give birth in a position other than my back. I would like to do delayed cord clamping till the cord turns white and not pulsating. I want someone to help stand up to the hospital staff for my needs and also my family with my needs.
My name is Savannah Johnson. I am an internationally trained doula currently completing recertification requirements in the United States and seeking approved settings in Indiana where I may complete required observation hours. As part of my recertification, I am required to be present for a minimum number of births and to complete observation hours related to labor, delivery, and lactation support. I am reaching out to inquire whether your hospital, birth center, or midwifery practice allows volunteer doulas, observers, or assistants to shadow or support care teams in a non-clinical capacity for this purpose. I am seeking opportunities strictly for observation and appropriate support, in compliance with all facility policies, confidentiality requirements, and scope-of-practice guidelines. These hours are required to move forward with my professional doula practice serving women and families in Indiana. I would appreciate the opportunity to connect briefly or receive guidance on whether your organization offers placements or can direct me to the appropriate contact. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Savannah Johnson International Doula | Recertification Candidate 317-689-8652

I am a first time mom. I plan on giving birth in a hostpital and would like someone there to support me before birth (maybe one or two sessions), during birth, and postpartum if I need it. I don't have a budget and I hope to have an unmedicated birth but that's as far as I have gotten in my birth plan.

Hi there! This is Marwa. My due date is March 26, and I’m currently looking for postpartum doula support as this is my first child. I wanted to check if this is within the scope of your services and whether you might have availability around that time. If so, I would love to arrange a quick call to talk further. Thank you so much!
I plan on giving birth at St francis on the Southside of Indianapolis but I live on the slight north east of indianapolis. I plan on using insurance to cover the cost. We are on one income and we don't have enough to cover the cost. I just want an extra set of eyes and hears so the hospital don't screw over on my health nor my unborn child heath.
I was originally planning to give birth at home but that has pivoted to the hospital now. I had an outside doula I hired at the beginning of my pregnancy but due to personal financial strain, I had to cancel her services. Therefore, I don’t have money to pay for a doula currently. I am expecting my first baby and I’ve always wanted a completely natural birth as I am aware that my body is made to birth. I am being told my baby is measuring big due to gestational diabetes and during my appointment today my OB mentioned a c-section as well as the potential of my baby’s shoulders getting stuck and the complications/risks that come with having a “big” baby. I also do not want to be induced. I want to let my body and baby do what it needs to do when it’s ready and not by force. For the sake of our health I will do things that I may not be most comfortable with if it’s absolutely needed. I don’t believe I need to be forced into an induction or a c-section because baby is big. I want to be able to walk around while in labor, sleep, eat small snacks, get into a tub of water, use a birth ball and deliver in the water or on all fours if possible. I simply want to do everything in my power to make my birthing experience a memorable moment and not a traumatic moment.
