I plan on birthing in San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland CA. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I would like to have a doula for supporting my husband and I in preparation for this to be possible as well as postpartum support to help me get settled in as a new mother healing from birthing. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs. I would like to be informed of all my childbirth options, like how much is covered through my insurance, maternity leave and childcare for when I return to work. I am covered through Blue Shield Trio HMO and have a medical group called Optum Network Inland Valley.
I plan to give birth at St. Joseph's Hospital, Orange. I am hoping that my doula requirements get covered by my Aetna PPO insurance. I do not have a birth plan yet. I am looking for help with birthing, mental support and postpartum help. I might ask for additional help, not decided yet.
Plan on giving birth at the hospital, I have blue shield promise which will cover doula coats hopefully as I cannot afford. Hopefully I can find a doula who is open minded, helpful, and willing to pass on knowledge as this is my first child.
I plan to give birth at Scripps hospital in Encinitas. I am looking into insurance coverage for doula services but expect to pay some out of pocket obviously. My birth plan centers around flexibility. I am aiming for natural birth and utilizing different birth positions and coping skills. I've had a some trauma with needles and medical care when I lived in Haiti and got typhoid: makes me reluctant to get epidural but open if my headspace is bad. This is my first baby and I am 28 years old. Would prefer someone who is in their 30's or older. Bonus if faith-based. Looking for coaching through labor and helping with positive mindset. Struggled with depression for years so apprehensive about postpartum and curious about options. I have BLUE SHIELD Gold 80 trio HMO
I would like to keep everything as natural as possible, most likely staying home to give birth and not needing a hospital unless absolutely necessary. Birth budget, don’t necessarily have one as of right this moment

We are planning on a home birth for our first child this August. We would like to use our insurance to cover the cost of a doula, we currently have a Blue Shield HMO plan. We would like this birth to be as positive and as natural as possible with little to no intervention, but understand hospital transfers do happen and that’s perfectly ok. I would really like a doula to help guide me and encourage/empower me to believe in my body’s natural ability to give birth at home. Attending the birth will be two midwives, my husband and my mom, and possibly a doula!
I am looking for a birth doula to support me and my husband through labor and delivery. I plan to give birth at a hospital, unmedicated, and my insurance is Anthem Blue Cross. I have ideas for a birth plan, but nothing set in stone and am open to ideas from a doula on what to implement.
I will be delivering at Pomona Valley, likely in December, possibly early January. I am insured by IEHP Direct through Medi-Cal. I want as natural birth as possible in the sense that I only want medical intervention if it is absolutely necessary (no induction, no episiotomy etc). I am going in expecting to need an epidural but am also open to the idea of being unmedicated. I am looking for someone to assist with pain management and advocacy while in labor and for education in early/postpartum care for my baby (tips/tricks/lactation/mama stomach wrapping). I would like someone with no less than 3 years of experience and is possibly able to assist with postpartum care at home.
