A holistic-minded doula to support me during my natural birth center birth. I plan to use insurance for payment. I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO insurance. Member ID is CLL951W21209
I am looking for a compassionate and emotionally supportive doula who can help me feel calm and confident throughout the rest of my pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum period. My biggest need is emotional support. I have been experiencing anxiety and fear about childbirth, and I would like someone who can provide reassurance, help me stay grounded, explain what is happening during labor, and guide me through breathing, relaxation, and coping techniques. I plan to give birth at a birth center with a midwife and hope to have an unmedicated, low-intervention birth if it is safe for me and my baby. I would like continuous labor support and someone who can advocate for my birth preferences while helping me make informed decisions if unexpected situations arise. I would prefer a doula who has experience supporting first-time mothers and is patient, gentle, non-judgmental, and a good communicator. Speaking Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus, but not required. After birth, I would appreciate some emotional check-ins, breastfeeding encouragement, and practical guidance during the first few days. I am mainly looking for emotional support rather than housekeeping or sleep training.

I plan to give birth at. Hospital and it’s my first baby. I was informed about doula to help make sure I give birth in a comfortable safe environment away from pressure from the doctor. I plan to give birth in the Balboa Navy medical hospital. My budget is on the lower side. Birth plan would be calm environment, only my doula, husband, and limited amount of doctors in the room. No student doctors. No episiotomy (unless medically recommended and/or justified), no male doctors, I do have questions about pitocin if the time comes, would like a epidural but birthing position to be hands and knees. I will be delivering at Pomona Valley, likely in December, possibly early January. I am insured by IEHP Direct through Medi-Cal. I want as natural birth as possible in the sense that I only want medical intervention if it is absolutely necessary (no induction, no episiotomy etc). I am going in expecting to need an epidural but am also open to the idea of being unmedicated. I am looking for someone to assist with pain management and advocacy while in labor and for education in early/postpartum care for my baby (tips/tricks/lactation/mama stomach wrapping). I would like someone with no less than 3 years of experience and is possibly able to assist with postpartum care at home.
I plan on birthing in San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland CA. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I would like to have a doula for supporting my husband and I in preparation for this to be possible as well as postpartum support to help me get settled in as a new mother healing from birthing. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs. I would like to be informed of all my childbirth options, like how much is covered through my insurance, maternity leave and childcare for when I return to work. I am covered through Blue Shield Trio HMO and have a medical group called Optum Network Inland Valley.

Hospital (planning to deliver at a hospital in the Bay Area / Mountain View, CA area). I have Cigna commercial insurance and understand doula care may be covered under California AB 904. I'd like to first use my insurance benefit if possible. For any out-of-pocket portion, my budget is approximately $4,000 for postpartum support. First-time mother, IVF pregnancy, currently under OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care due to advanced maternal age (38). Planning a hospital birth. Open to natural birth but following medical guidance. Due date: January 20, 2027. I would especially value postpartum support, as I don't have family nearby.
I have Kaiser insurance and am planning on giving birth at Kaiser Santa Clara. My birth plan is to be open to assistance or suggestions from professional support. I would like to try different types of pain management and am open to all if necessary. Ideally I do not want to have an IV so movement is possible. I would like to have delayed chord clamping if possible. Skin to skin and golden hour are important to me. My husband will be in the room and is very kind and attentive. I would like to have contact after birth as it is my first child and I’m sure there will be questions, but we don’t need help like cooking, cleaning, or laundry.
